Our bigs besides Horford are such garbage that I can easily see this kid getting consistent minutes by the end of this season.

Rebounds and shot blocks happen with the hands not the head. Wingspan matters more.

He was one of the best shot blockers in college basketball.

You're **** high if you think Yabs is lazy, he might be raw but he is all over the floor when he plays.

You thinking he's going to have a size problem at all shows you're not aware that wingspan and athleticism is far more important than whether he's 6-9 or 7 feet.

If he has any problems in the NBA, it won't be based on his height.

Ya, you wont ever come away from watching him thinking "that guy is just too short". The dude plays the game with legit size.

He only worked out for teams picking in the teens, was never expected to be there at 27

Just for those Deandre Jordan comparisons.

Per 40 in college
DJ: 16/12 and 2.5 blks
RW: 16/14 and 4 blks

Again I think he has the next DJ/Capela written all over him.

Last year I wanted Bell, so didn’t even get my hopes up this time. Williams is going to be a nice piece along with Semi though. Neither are big offensive threats, but their toughness will compliment the core very well.

Get ready for the 2018-19 dunking clinic!!!

Getting his height confused isn't really all that bad, it's understandable, but "lazy" is the more confusing of the criticisms. I mean... what???

I don’t think this kid is gonna spend time in Maine either. He’s a day one contributor with his skill set IMO

Yup. Then being surrounded with the likes of Kyrie, Hayward, Brown and Tatum on the perimeter then having Horford and Baynes teaching him the ins and outs while on the court. The perfect ideal scenario for him to maximize his potential, just like DJ had in LA and Capela had in HOU.

I didn't say anything about that, I'm totally aware of it. Standing reach and athleticism is the most important thing, but it was just a note.
Ainge looks like he is searching the new draymond or something like that, the real problem is that those 2 were lazy and williams is considered one too, that was the line of my comment.

Marcus Smart, if he's returning, I think will love playing with a player like Williams, on both ends of the court.

Fulfilled my dream of getting a Tristan Thompson stopper. Thanks Danny.
