Karl-Anthony Towns Hasn't Asked For Trade From Wolves

Karl-Anthony Towns and Tom Thibodeau have spoken on the phone this offseason, according to sources.

When Towns returns from his travels, he is expected to have a more substantive dialogue. There has not been an impasse between the two despite their sometimes strained relationship this past season.

Towns has not asked for a trade and the Minnesota Timberwolves are not considering dealing him.

Towns and the Wolves can begin to negotiate an extension this offseason.

THIS. is why FOs tend not to get along w Thibs.
he destroys player value.

im old enough to remember the GM Survey of KAT being ranked 2nd among GMs as the player to build around.

way to go MIN. luckily for MIN, Pop is sucking up all the oxygen right now, otherwise the public scorn would be squarely on MIN.

ball pressure and hyper active 5. that's his "Genius" defense.
KAT needs a fresh start. look how Rubio looks in UTAH. refreshed.

I guess it's cuz his J was iffy. He was only shooting 30% in his last year in Minny. Unfortunately for them, it goes up to 35% in Utah, probably has something to do with the system.

You're probably right. Even worse is that he probably would have enjoyed the same bump getting kickouts from Butler.
