Does anyone else think the suns are becoming a very interesting team ? Not next year way too many youngs but in 3 years time they should be in the right whereabouts?

Don't want to help the garbage team, but this seems very logical.

K Leonard and B Forbes go to Toronto.

J Poeltl, D Wright, O Anunoby, M Richardson, CJ Miles go to San Antonio.

This seems fair too.

K Leonard, P Gasol, P Mills to Miami.

G Dragic, H Whiteside, J Winslow to San Antonio.

That is for elderly Papi.

One more.

K Leonard, P Gasol, P Mills to Milwaukee.

K Middleton, E Bledsoe, J Henson to San Antonio.

Soon, everyone finds out of P George was just a rental for OKC. Even if he stays, unless the Thunder win the title then the Pacers won that trade.

If K Leonard is just a rental, the above trades are more than enough.

For Boston, just for Leonard, it would have to be J Brown, Morris, Nader, Semi, Yabu, Rozier to equal the money. No picks. For a one year of Kawhi, that is plenty to give up. If Smart wants to go there, and the Spurs want him, Celtics could keep Rozier and Semi in the deal.

Hopefully the Spurs hurry up and move Kawhi, and LeBron has his "decision", so all the other NBA teams not involved with those deals can get to business when business is open for business next month.

I think they had an amazing draft assuming Ayton is worthy of #1 pick. To get Okobo and Bridges - 2 prospects likely to be starters - with picks 31 and 16 is outstanding.
"I think the criticism's stupid," Stevens said. "So I don't care. I'm with Jaylen (Brown) on that. Those two had achieved more than most 25 and 26 year olds ever had. I'd rather be in the mix and have my guts ripped out than suck."

Really ? With 3 top 10 picks in the last 3 years and a scoring machine of a sg ? It takes a very incompetent FO not to develop them to a point they are a really good team. I think they have a higher potential than sixers on paper to be honest. A lot will depend on Ayton obviously but for the first time in years they have a lot of upside.

they've been doing it for years though. They really messed up the 16 draft. Even though the people in that GB thread said otherwise, lol.

I may be proven wrong come next week, but it doesn't exactly feel like guys are lining up to play with LeBron this offseason. Maybe his years of getting everything his own way has come home to roost, especially when players have seen the ruin LBJ leaves franchises in once he bolts town. I thought the Lakers had a 'bang-bang-bang' plan in place (in cahoots with LBJ), but that is looking less and less likely by the day.

Interesting times ahead! Hurry up Sunday.

We may never know. If he figures out that nobody is going to join forces with him, he'll stay in Cleveland and say he just couldn't bring himself to leave home.

I still think he ends up on another team. However, if it's the Lakers, he probably ends up with a second rate/tier star like Boogie.

Not unexpected but still interesting news. Had they not extended him they ran the risk of losing him summer of '19 in FA because he was a 2nd rounder. This forces them into tough cap decisions on others and may make interesting role players available.

SeizeCoup wrote:Porter was a ballsy pick by the Nuggets. If he pans out how good could he be? He was widely accepted as the top prospect at one point very recently. Higher ceiling than a guy like Tatum...

Denver could be tough with Jokic, Murray and a healthy PorterJR.

I was hoping Sacramento would take Porter and try to pair him up with Harry Giles.

They also traded a future unprotected pick to help get Bridges.

I find it hilarious that commentators assume Ball or Fultz would be shipped out as sweetener if the Lakers or Sixers managed to land a Lebron S&T opportunity. I don't think anybody would expect the Cs to send out Tatum in an analogous scenario. :)

Brett went long. traded for 2 shots at catching a star. Miami pick has some shelf life.

I really liked the move. Ainge got one over on the Sixers, but they pull another good one off here.

I do. Booker and Ayton should anchor a dangerous offense. Jackson and Bridges gives you defense and athleticism on the wings. Jackson can give you some secondary ball handling. Jackson's shot and Ayton's defense are the biggest areas that need improvement. Getting a decent pg will be important too.

I'm very intrigued. I have them making the playoffs this season. Them and the Sixers have the most talented starting five after the Celtics and Warriors. If they don't win 45 games it will be really bad coaching or major injuries that prevent it.
