Allonzo Trier might not have been drafted, but he already has this award wrapped up. He's going to do insane things for the Knicks this season.

Bagley could be his team's first option from day one, so he'll get his numbers. Maybe Trae too (if Atlanta moves Schroeder) but the league is full of guards that are bigger and faster than him so it won't be as easy for him. Doncic will contribute to winning the most.

Luka. If they grab DJ and someone else and compete especially. He's gonna put up nice numbers on a winning team. Atlanta will be awful.

People sleeping on trae young chucking on a 15 win team. If he puts up 20 ppg on high volume he could win it.

I think you totally underestimate the Kings' ability to do something monumentally stupid like start Zach Randolph and only give Bagley 15 minutes a game while using him as a stretch 4 on offense where he sits at the 3pt line and waits for the ball.

ROY is Ayton and it's not even close. Look at recent, previous winners. Discounting Brogdon (AWFUL class) they all have 3 things in common:
#1: Offensive numbers
#2: Defense was entirely ignored
#3: They were all physically mature

That's Ayton. It doesn't hurt that he's "competing" (lolz) with Chriss, Bender, and Tyson Chandler for minutes AND has a solid lead guard and floor spacing to play with.

I think Doncic will take it if Mavs builds a solid team this off season and they compete for a playoff spot.

Or start Bagley at the 3

Just FYI. I’ve heard more than one Kings player say Giles will win it. Might be good odds in Vegas. LOL

Seeing this a lot, are there videos of him playing again? Even workout videos are interesting, he really had limited mobility in his movement at Duke. Is he playing in SL?

Really like both guys (Giles and Bagley) - but if SAC values Giles this high, the Bagley selection seems a bit suspect at no2 :-?

That has been a question around Sac. The answer we are getting is they have two very different games. Giles reportedly is more of a power player who will play center and a bit longer with a 7’ 3” wingspan. He has huge hands and rebounds well and passes very well with a great feel for the game. Those characteristics are what draws the Chris Weber comparisons. He also sets a good screen.

Unlike last year, where we were near the league bottom on 3 point attempts, I expect more paint touches and kick outs to our 3 point shooters: Hield, Bogdanovich, Hezonja/McDermott. Expect the ball to go through Harry’s hands often. I would guess we see many ball screens with he and Bogdan. Especially if Fox has improved shooting off the ball.

The Kings see Bagley as more a perimeter player who will play off the ball. The question will be can he develop his outside shot and play perimeter defense. In year 1, I expect offensively he will get a lot of backside screens and be freed up to crash the offensive glass. Again depending on Foxes decision making he will likely be in pick and rolls with Fox.

I think Carter will do great with the Bulls this year, and will take over from Lopez. But our offense will center around Markannan and not Carter. Carter will have to get a ton of rebounds and offensive put backs to have a good to great year.
