If Van Fleet goes for the MLE or less, I will be shocked. Teams will find a way to pay a guy that shoots over 40% from 3 and is only 24 years old.

Tony Parker is going to get his too and I don't see him making a career change to come play for the Charlotte Hornets.

So, remove Exum, Evans, Bradley, Van Fleet, Parker, and who are you left with?

I think it comes down to Curry or Payton.

+ Napier, Joseph

I haven't really seen much from Elfrid, but his basic stats look alright. Is he really that bad?

Per-36
Elfrid: 16 & 8 on 49% from field, 33% from three
MCW: 10 & 5 on 33% from field, 24% from three

His stats are also better than Napier's across the board outside of 3pt shooting. Elfrid's also three years younger and three inches taller.

I think I would be happy with just about any of these guys. They all seem like gigantic upgrades over MCW, Roberts, and whatever other garbage we've had at backup PG the last two seasons.

Didn't know Napier played with Walker and Lamb. I'm definitely on board with getting him then. Admittedly, I haven't watched much of his game, but he seems like a better version of Raymond Felton.

I don't see the point in using 2 of our last 4 top picks on players that are similar to our best player and then following that up with signing another one just like them in free agency. If we don't trade one of Monk or Kemba I will be unimpressed with Mitch's team building skills. You don't load up on a position like that unless a trade is planned.

Kemba is for sure walking out the door if all we do is sign Napier and dump Marvin/MKG for cap space. That isn't going to cut it.

Horse ****. UConn has a huge fan base throughout New England across multiple states that can swing behind the Hornets when they invest in Kemba. Plus Napier is an excellent ballhandler with range and vision.

When did this team become the Charlotte Huskies? I care more about winning than adding UConn players. Having 4 guys on this team that would ideally play similar roles is straight up dumb. We're going to waste Monk with this nonsense. He needs to be traded if we are going to commit to Napier beyond one season.

That statement about NE states swinging behind the Hornets is asinine.

Uh yeah if Monk proves he has game, he'll get minutes. Earn them first

I would think you guys would be all over shabazz napier...he played pretty well last year and the blazers didn’t miss a beat when he started.

Playing two small guards most of the game works for the Blazers, I guess it could work for us.

I'd want to see if Tyreke is open to taking the MLE here, but I'd be happy with Napier

If Tyreke wants multiple years, then I'm out. We've gotta grab a bridge 1-year guy, maybe a player with a 2nd year option so that Graham can take over as we hope. I think Evans will want too much and probably 3 years min.

Looking more an more like Napier or a trade for Beverley.

Evans can play SG. Multi-year is fine with him. Not sure that the MLE is going to get it done with him though.
My picks:
2020 Draft (3rd pick) - Tyrese Haliburton, Devin Vassell, or Onyeka Okongwu
2021 Draft (11th pick) - Moses Moody
