Seeing Bayless on that list is one of the more shocking things I’ve ever read, even on this site.
Jaylen alone tops any player on that list, and Boston has two picks more valuable than any Philly can offer. An AD move—which isn’t on the horizon—goes through Boston unless Philly is going to throw Simmons in the mix, which they absolutely should if AD bet became available.
Bayless is an expiring contract, that’s the only reason I mentioned him.
Jaylen is a better prospect, but teams don’t all evaluate players the same way - Fultz has go-to scorer upside.
I don’t see how Davis and the Pelicans are both going to be happy running it back another year, and New Orleans can demand more value making a trade now.
The 76ers have nothing to trade for Anthony Davis. Point blank. Period. That package you put together might not even be enough for the Spurs, a team that has absolutely no leverage and knows that it HAS to trade Kawhi Leonard sometime between now and February, and yet you think it would land Davis from a Pelicans team that has shown absolutely no interest in dealing him and which has Davis under contract through 2021?
Like, how can you possibly put together a 76ers package for Davis and not include Simmons? The funny thing is, even THEN, the Pelicans would probably tell Philly to **** off.
