Yeah, it was more just for fun.

I could see this as a more viable lineup:
PG: Frank
SG: Knox
SF: Hezonja
PF: KP
C: Mrob

or

PG: Frank
SG:THJr or Trier or Dotson
SF: Knox
PF: KP
C: MRob

Still a lot of height

Charlotte signs Parker for 2 years. They are shooting for max cap space in 2020 as many contracts on the books until then.

One of the few big ones left on the books in 2020 are Batum and Cody Zeller.

Kemba will likely be traded but they will try like heck to get one of those guys added to the deal.

You're probably right but nobodys trying to go to Charlotte even with Jordan as the owner. I lived there that city has no soul it basically looks like it was thrown together in the last 10 years it's all cookie cutter

Possible but if its their plan that they believe in if we give them expirings in 2020 and take on Zeller we can probably get Kemba.

Kemba has an 18mill hold for 2020. You can bring him in AND get another Max guy next year. Getting 2 max guys outright is almost impossible without trading THJ or them signing at around 27Mill vs 30+Mill.

Is this a pro-tank team for next year's lottery or something else? :P

It’s a play the damn kids because they’re the future not the useless vets to go after low hanging fruit team. :D

An ancillary benefit will be the likely top 5 pick we get next year.

Extended on court experience for the kids.

Top 5 pick to add to the core.

Everyone wins. I’m still pissed we didn’t do it last year

THJr's 4 Year/$17.5 Million deal is looking good now after some of these FA signings!

He has 3 years left on it now.

Yeah...because the back three bigs are so agile on the perimeter against more athletic players, not mention, super mario is getting torched by anyone 6'6 and under.

I don't see how Lavine's contract makes Timmy's look better? Lavine was held out most of the year just because, so he never got back into the groove. But go back the prior season, Lavine is stylistically better in almost every cat against Timmy. Still points to NY overpaying for lesser talent to me.

Again Ill say you cant teach wing span but you can teach defense, agility. If you have guards that stop the initial line of offense(pg,sg) then for the next 15 secs the big men can adjust and protect the middle and rebound. It all starts with defense by our guards. Must make the opposing guards eat up shot clock just bringing the ball up ex at least 10 secs. SuperMario was used wrong and he wants a new lease on his basketball life. Defense is gonna be key with long armed YOUNG guards pressing at will. I have a feeling we are gonna see a whole different type of Knicks basketball and its gonna be fun watching it.
