4 for $80 was exactly what I thought he would get. If the Bulls are too stingy to match over a $2 mill per year difference, they should all just resign.

I don’t think Zach’s comments are a shot at the Bulls org. He’s just saying the Bulls challenged me to find more money, and I did.

Also I don’t think you guys should match.

And... can I interest you in Jerryd Bayless, Richaun Holmes, two 2nds, and 5M cash for Justin Holiday?

I think that would’ve had to happen before Sac signed him to an offer sheet. Not positive, but I believe that’s the way it works.

Yes, match. Bulls aren't in the position to let young talent walk for nothing. We got 23 games of seeing him play on a rehabbed knee. In that time he was bad but still managed to flash the level of speed and athleticism that I haven't seen in a Bulls jersey since the days of D.Rose.

Bulls will most likely match this offer. I know it's $78M but this is what happens when you try to play hard ball. If you didn't want to overpay they could off just traded him for an asset. Maybe someone like Buddy Hield.

Nah those comments were not exactly nice or necessary. He could of been more professional but the guy is just like another rose in terms of talking to media,he’s horrible at it. Pretty much took a shot at the bulls. I bet that those comments made the front office not want him anymore.

Niko is a role player on a Western Conference team. Who is crying in their beer about that?

I would think, if anything, the success of the decision to send Niko west would be a BLUEPRINT for how to handle risky talent.

if it makes you feel any better Butler's best years are behind him and he's stuck with Thibs in Minny on a 1st round loser. The trade was good. The best player turned out to be Lauri, that's fine. The Bulls got a 2nd or 3rd banana on a contender. Now they need to find #1, time to tank again. Maybe that guy is Carter, but almost certainly not.

Keep tanking, you got a great shot to find a #1 guy next year, either in the draft or FA or trade.

Your starting SG for the 2019 season is....Justin Holiday. It's not ideal, but not a bad thing. This team needs another high pick and to continue building. If someone like Tyreke was still available I'd suggest signing him as a stop gap, but he's gone.

if we don't match then maybe there's some upside in that it'd force everyone to realize we're going to have to rebuild for another year or two at least

zach lavine is probably not going to be this team's savior either way, so a reality check would be an ok silver lining
