WOW! 6 grains of salt in 10 Olympic sized swimming pools. Both Robinson and Trier seem like cats who slipped through systemic cracks and not the other way around. I'm glad we're giving him a shot reading that story.

I was watching videos of him a couple of days ago and told my friend that Baker just lost his spot. Also like the fact that dudes seems to have a lot of dog in him. In the past we had too many cool cats who were too damn smooth with no real dog in them.

It does really seem like the Knicks added 3 1st round talents with all their draft day acquisitions. Hopefully this is a harbinger of things to come in talent evaluating from this FO.

Even if I'm being conservative and calling Trier a second round talent, we got guys who were more valuable than the places we selected/acquired them and that's always gonna be a good thing. That approach is absolutely promising, I hope this is a trend Perry keeps up.

Baker plays defense. Trier might play offense. If only we could merge them we might have a decent player.

If he was tasked to play the 1 he would most definitely have more assists since he's got great vision and can make all the passes plus his defensive liabilities might be hidden more than against SGs.

It's obviously wait and see with rooks and he has a rough road ahead to prove himself but he fits the mold of the modern PG especially the way they are being used with guys like Harden, Curry and such.

I haven't thought Trier to be special as pg (I think he started at that at UA, didn't he? I could swear he was listed as pg at times.)
3 assists as a SG is actually pretty nice. I can't imagine him not getting 6 or so if he played PG on that team with Ayton down low.
Anyway, if he can see the floor ok, at least he is a combo guard, which in todays NBA is important. And I can imagine a necessity under Fiz.

He pretty much played the 2 but did practice as a backup PG and got a little game time in that role. He actually can see the floor really well but he had a rep in college for creating and getting his own shot. He was improving as a distributor last season and maybe he can continue to as a pro.

I am impressed by everything this front office is pulling off. They did a pretty good job scouting and getting talented players. Mitchell and Trier looks like they will be able to produce in the NBA.

We need to move on from Trier and Hicks too. We can find better 2 way players in the schoolyard. Let's do better.

If you're right, it will be in Westchester

I'm usually patient, but I felt tested watching him today

Honestly what do you like about his game? I watched his college game and wasn’t impressed and his SL play hasn’t given me much confidence in him at all.

I need him to become good in the league so they can make this shirt for him and replace the pipe with a cross.

He can create his own shot. Didn't shoot well tonight but he was good shooter in college. Not a bad finisher. Shows some craftyness finishing.
