Is this guy the only one reporting this? Does he not realize we already have a bunch of 3 pt shooters that are cheaper, younger, and defend?

No he hasn’t. Len hasn’t. Williams is out there. It’s a slow market now. Suns do not have room or can offer anything but the minimum and one 4.4m exception but there are deals to be had for depth.

Spurs lost Anderson and Parker - they will sign a guy or two. Houston might want a guy cheap. Lakers might need to fill out roster. All teams

If the suns can do a 3:1 trade, or buyout Chandler, waive Daniels, they might find a guy for cheap.

Don’t look now but Bridges just might make Jackson expendable. It’s not a stretch to think MB will be a better player than JJ. Do you need both ?

Suns are clearly copying Rockets and Warriors with interchangeable piece for defense and offense. Its NOT Bridges OR Jackson... Its Bridges AND Jackson that will help Booker and Ayton...

Only way I trade Jackson is for one of Porzingis, Davis and a happy to be a Sun Kawhi.... For Love?

You GOTS to be kidding.

Maybe Suns are trying to emulate Warriors or Rockets except you would have to point to the player that Jackson is supposed to represent. You see he can't shoot and his defense really isn't that special. He would be riding the pine he's that bad on offense and defense. Last year his BPM was -4.3, his offensive BPM was -3.1, and his defensive BPM was -1.2. Besides Ulis he was the worst on the team of those who got significant minutes. People are inflating what he does on defense it ... it just isn't there yet. His offense is down right offensive, crappy free throw shooter, not particularly good at distributing the basketball, and bad true shooting percentage. Seems to be all carrying over to the summer league. Right now Jackson's value by many folks on this board is way over inflated. At least Bender has hope for being a 3-D type player. Jackson is missing both parts.

Filer and Bucks pick or gagf.

Love isn't worth clogging everything up if the price is high.

PF is obviously a position of need.

Would you trade Josh Jackson and our 1st next year for Pozinigis?

Would you if he wasn’t coming off ACL injury?

Do you think New York would do the deal??

Ha ha ha!

Josh Jackson isn’t going to get you anything in a trade. Porzingis for a guy who is a backup 3? Come on man!

For Love I'd offer Warren, Bender, Daniels expiring, MIL pick. Done deal, works in the trade checker too.

Cavs get a good young efficient wing, a 'prospect' in Bender with (apparently) some upside and obviously cap relief and a pick.

Suns lock down a beastly rebounding frontcourt:

Ayton/Chandler
Love/Chriss/Dudley
Jackson/Bridges
Booker/Reed
Knight (ugh)/Harrison

Then I'd go get a vet PG - someone like Jameer Nelson, Devin Harris or JJ Barea (assuming we don't trade for Beverley/he doesn't get bought out)...

Don’t worry. Nobody is going to give up anything for Jackson. So we’ll be stuck with him while the rest of the league finds out he’s a bench player who can’t shoot.if you get offered anything half decent for him, jump on it now while you can

What would you do with Ariza? They seem to be building a team full of 3 pt shooting defensive wings to be able to really guard teams like GS and Houston....really upgrade our defense. To add a non defensive big next to Ayton seems like it is basically the opposite of what they will want and need.

Even if he never improves his shot he'll be more than a bench player. He's a guy that is complete in practically every other way but his jumpshot. At 21 yrs old. I don't think you understand value or a player's value, or basketball, or really anything at all.

Saw it on Twitter, Warren for Portis makes sense for both teams, he'd be a great fit there and Portis fits like a glove at PF with his range and rebounding.

that be a perfect trade. i'm down.

question is who would Bulls add to make salary match? TJ = 11m/4yrs vs Portis = 2m/1yr.

perhaps the return of Robin Lopez expiring? :o

prob getting tons of hate for this, but mentioned it over on page 2....

if we're all of sudden talking trading a SF for PF-Love -- why not look at Ibaka. I know - trust me - I know Ibaka is crap. And he can't play nearly as well compared to OKC days. But neither can Love.

at least he costs 3-million less, one year younger, and can actually defend + block shots. Way better complementary piece next to Ayton/Ariza than Love. Ibaka just has 2 years on his deal so it's not like he's gonna hog up your cap space for five years.

TOR:: Warren + Dudley + Bender
PHX:: Ibaka + Wright + 2nd?

knight/wright/okobo
booker/bridges/daniels
ariza/jackson/filler
chriss/ibaka/filler
ayton/chandler/filler

I had never really looked at his stats before, but they're pretty amazing for only playing 22 minutes per game.
