If we’re playing comp game, I see PG13
Brooklyn Nets
Damian Lillard - Rajon Rondo - Trey Burke
Victor Oladipo - Wes Matthews - Javon Carter
Caris LeVert - Derrick Jones Jr. - Glenn Robinson III
Andre Igoudala - Killian Tillie - Trey Lyles
Joel Embiid - Taj Gibson - Kevon Looney

He'll do it before long, but it still won't be the core of his game anymore than it is for KD. He'll face the basket when he is holding the ball the majority of his possessions. And when he does have his back to the basket, he'll probably spin off guys or step back from them as much as back them down

Knox looks special because all it will take for him many times is one step and full extension. With his length and touch he will get off a lot of shots in a swooping fashion which will be harder to stop than some of his current straight to the rim moves. But even now when he does barrel in he shows a high capacity for drawing fouls which is great

Now I know how Jazz fans felt last year at this time. So exciting!

One thing I like about Knox is how light he is on his feet. He'll continue to grow stronger without adding too much extra weight, maybe 10 pounds of muscle max as he matures. All of this gives me some confidence he won't take unnecessary punishment to his knees and will have some longevity. He moves economically without wasted motion and because he is a glider his body will take less of a pounding than other players.

Houston was a little more athletic in his pre Knicks days but he was never as athletic as Knox currently is. Also Allan was always a shooter first and foremost. His whole game derived from his shooting. Basically I don't see much similarities there beyond some superficial ones.

When Allan got that contract and really was out to show he deserved it, he expanded his game and tried to post more and put it on the deck some. His handle was always kinda clumsy but he’d usually recover and make a play when he put it on the floor. Or try a behind the back and turn it over off his big arse foots. That’s the Allan I remember outside of that sweet shooting.
Some of Knox’s drives seem like he’s outta control but he’s very effective at not traveling and getting right at the rim, getting fouled or turning the ball over.

Maybe it’s more of a body shape or demeanor thing but it’s definitely more than the light skinneded complexturisms.

I'm just glad someone else sees it. Look at his form on the juniper. But, BUT H20 never had a first step like this guy. Nor was he this strong. Or athletic. DAMN!!

knox not wet like allan houston. lol.

allan houston is probably a top-25 jump shooter in the history of the NBA.

Agreed. But the form in my opinion is similar to the way they square up.

Maybe but check this out, Allan Houston didn't even play in the NBA until he was 22 and he shot 29% from 3 in his rookie season. What's Knox going to look like in 4 years

It wont be long before Knox receives endorsement offers from major shoe brands IMO. With the way he plays and all.

I didn't realize he's from Tampa. So the Magic could have had a hometown kid and then gotten Mitch in the pick right before the Knicks.

I've seen him score out of the post. He has a lil jump hook over the left shoulder that he goes to.

I think he already has the full toolkit in his bag. He's just in the process of unpacking it. Over time he'll refine everything, but he is essentially a formed player already which is a pretty clear indication of stardom.

I see KD in Knox the most. The way he moves, sorta slow but sorta fast...deliberate is prob the best word. And if the kid's still growing he should end up right around KD height.
