Just a thought: the longer this goes on, the more of a chance that Leonard re-signs in SA. Keep in mind that Team USA basketball is having a mini-camp later this month, and Pop is the coach and Kawhi is on the team. It's entirely possible they hash things out then. The Spurs also have to know his value is dropping every day, so my guess is they will try to work things out.

That is an interesting dynamic... I agree entirely possible that things get worked out and he stays in SA.

I also think it's fantastic that they think they can land him without giving up Lowry or DD. OG, Norman Powell, Delon Wright, Poetl - none of these guys are blue-chip prospects.
