Injuries happen. The problem is for teams that base everything on 5 or 6 players. There is no substitute for any of the starters. Other teams have a more balanced roaster and suffer less with one injury.

Boston advances to the semis and now our fourth game is Sunday 6. Maybe Ricky could take some risk here.

I was hoping for game 3, now even for game 4 seems unlikely. Pfffff

I'm so bummed. I'm sorry Ricky can't play and I'm sure it kills him he'll miss the second round. Jazz are going to miss his presence dearly. I can see them getting swept now. :(

Yesterday I heard Quin (I think it was Quin) say Rubio was steadily improving, but definitely wasn't going to play in game three.

Utah Jazz guard Ricky Rubio believes that his team has the capacity and potential to reach the NBA Finals in the near future.

“We are young, we have a solid future and a team, and I feel that we still have to do something big. I see myself playing the NBA finals with the Jazz,”

This dude is not a luxury player. He is a core peice. IMO this group cannot win a chip without him.

The passing is so nice. What also makes me smile is our team getting out and running. So important a team that relies on defense and a slow pace takes advantage of those fast breaks and for what seems like my entire Jazz fandom career the Jazz have been bad at fast breaks and easy buckets.

One of the most disappointing things about Quin's tenure is the lack of transition. I think part of it is having a lot of PF's that do not run (Favors, Diaw, Johnson etc.), but even with faster 4's we haven't run much.

I really hope to see it this season. Our bench unit especially has a lot of guys that would thrive in transition.

I love it. He just can put the ball everywhere he wants at the right time, few people has that gift.
The way the Jazz play he is not going to be in the top of the assist leaders of the NBA, but the 6-7 he gives every game are precious.
I think next year he will shot better, if he improves also finishing at the basket the way this year did(a huge leap). We are talking about a borderline allstar PG.

Ricky has never been a borderline all star pg and likely never will be. He is a solid player but that is about it.

Definitely expecting to see RR on fire right out of the gates this year. He's hungry and he knows the Jazz are competing for the #2 seed this year, his contract year. Biggest season of his life coming up and hope he blows our minds! He is totally the X factor between the Jazz being scary good or just pretty good.
