I really hope not lol... Tavares would be nice but then again, Mavs already have a promising big in Motley.

Lol no. There's a reason why Anthony Randolph is in Europe and not in the NBA. A platoon lineup for PF with Powell + Kleber + Barnes (occasionally) will suffice.

Randolph purposefully forced Real to break up the contract.

Doncic vouched for Mejri, Mejri was hired.

1+1

Illuminati confirmed.

Nah. I dont think Doncic has that much clout on the team yet. He's not at Lebron's level where he can ask Dan Gilbert to give Tristan Thompson that ugly contract. At this point Luka is a rookie who carries players' bags back to the bus after practice. It's a team culture thing.

Any chance he gets a 2 way contract?

His last game was decent. He will be tested more.

The last SL game is coming right? Will Smith and Doncic play?

I wonder if Cuban has an angle in bringing the guys from Australia in. Mitch Creek and Ryan Broekhoff. Both SG who play tough. Was thinking if we have a legit roster spot for those two. I do think Wes is a goner. He's turning 31 next year. These two does everything he does and is like 6 years younger and will probably cost way cheaper to keep.

While Chicago players are sleepwalking, the Mavs are on fire from long range from start. Chicago makes a timeout and close the lane. But it works. Mavs still has a sizeable lead. But not getting wider. By the way, Spalding should not give in shotblocking position and gamble for steal. I don't think coach will like it. At 6-10, he's better be able to play like a big defensively.

Creek is very strong. On a post-up, he plays like a big.

Fantastic. So now the next (and the last, consolidation) game is against Washington if I understand the schedule. Didn't look to me like Mavs coaching staff was really interested in qualifying for the main tournament. I hope they got enough info.

Weird that Motley didn't play... Kinda indicates they will sign him unless he is already on the roster, not sure.

Spalding looks like Hassan Whiteside when he entered the D-League and just developed for like 2 years. Whiteside was even slower than Spalding is. Hope Im right. We might have got a steal there.

If the Hawks didnt agree to trade down with us, I do believe we would have drafted Wendell Carter Jr after multiple visits and private workouts with us. WCJ seems like a pretty solid pick too after seeing him play in multiple summer league games. Pretty polished in the post.

Sure would have been nice to draft Mitchell Robinson in round 2 instead of wasting it on Brunson

We've had our share of disagreements in the past, but we can surely agree on this. Especially if the idea was to keep Yogi, which by all accounts, it seems to be, Robinson would have just made so much more sense.
