Myers and Polanco do me no good right now as a bottom feeding team. This is about hopefully building something deeper for a couple years out.

Looks like everyone else is better at this than me so you may as well all run my team for me. Enjoy fellas.

Something tells me that whomever that Ty wanted back along with Kershaw could have been the sticking point
Either way, hope it works out for you OldNo7

nah man .. don't take it personal .. I'm sure everyone is disappointed they couldn't get in on the action. Even me .. I had just sent you a note asking what it would take and a few minutes later I see that you had pulled the trigger on a deal. It's all timing and I guess a few of us didn't come aggressively enough before you decided.
That's all there is to it.

Can we discuss changing our dumb minor league rule to more closely match reality? I don’t see any reason we shouldn’t be allowing guys to be sent back to the minors roster after being called up if they ar under the AB/IP limit.

I agree with Nick. We need more flexibility with our prospects.OldNo7 wrote:Can we discuss changing our dumb minor league rule to more closely match reality? Cueto, Pivetta and Gibson are OTB. Looking to trade 2 of them for a better SP.

We can discuss this in the offseason. This is how the league has been since the time I joined, so most of my transactions have been made with this rule in mind over the years. Nick, you knew the rules before you made your trade, so you can't expect the rules to be immediately changed to accommodate all the N/A players you took on.

Yes I did. I just think we should open it up for discussion in the off-season because it's archaic and doesn't follow reality. Thanks.

I could have sworn I reverted the extra moves I had added for the long all star week, but it looks like that didn't take effect. Changing back to 4 moves now. Sorry about that!
