This is bad news for us. Grizzlies were one of the targets you could realistically see trading for Courtney Lee. Seems like they preferred Temple who plays a similar role and had a smaller deal.

Kings have a lot of money and dont always make sense so maybe they would consider Lee? Maybe one of the few teams left that could take him.

Hard to say what they are doing...maybe they are setting themselves up to take Melo and release him?

they freed up more cap space. Could be a sign that they're preparing an offer sheet or looking to take on a big salary for a trade...

This still leaves Memphis in play for Lee but may take Sac out of the market for him although they are confusing in their moves so maybe they still do it.

imagine the Kings singing Marcus Smart to an offer sheet, boston would lose their defensive back court anchor making them not as tough as before with all the little things he does out there, due to his shooting woes, which has gotten better over the years

It's almost as if moving a soon to be 33 year old with 2 years and 25m left on his deal isn't as easy as some make it out to be. You can't just give him away and get upset when deals occur that don't involve him. Not sure what the market is for that type of player/deal.

were the knicks supposed to have been in on this deal?

should scott perry have been able to gaffle sacramento or detroit into taking on courtney lee?

detroit is especially laughable as they arguably have the current worst contract in the NBA. (shoutout to blake griffin with the WHOLE bag :lol:
