What this will end up being for Raptors -- Salary dump with OG and at least another 1st as cost of getting rid of DDR's contract. Recoup a bit of the loss by trading Kawhi to the Lakers for their playoff push. Take whatever scraps LA will give them in February.

There it is. Maybe KL ends up in LA in 2019 but until then I'm quite smug with my consistent take on this issue.

Damn Toronto, I know DeRozan is a flawed player but at least he wanted to play there. Guess they’re content with a rebuild

Demar for Kawhi doesn't work money-wise, so I'm guessing the Spurs threw in another player.

Good deal for Toronto. MLSE not ready to concede their coveted Atlantic Division title just yet. Lol

Assuming Spurs at least gets OG and a 1st, I like the trade for them. Kawhi really handicapped them with his douchey move. They needed a franchise who was willing to take a risk. Maybe they can transform DDR into a more impactful player. But at least Uncle Dennis is no longer their problem.

Btw, we weren't beating the Raps offer without including one of our starting five or the SAC pick.

Raptors board said Masai "pulled a Danny Ainge"... When has Ainge ever lied about trading someone? He said with IT that anything can happen and they're always looking to improve the roster. Never did he promise he wouldn't be traded

The Spurs won 47 games WITHOUT Leonard or DeRozen, now they're adding another star... on a three-year deal. Just insane.

It's really a good deal for everyone involved, IMO.
