Should be. They just exchanged what was close to a playoff liability into a Finals MVP.

The San Antonio Spurs have agreed to trade Kawhi Leonard and Danny Green to Toronto for DeMar DeRozan, Jakob Poeltl and a protected 2019 first-round pick, league sources tell ESPN.
Toronto's first-round pick to San Antonio is a protected 1-20 selection. After one year, it becomes two second-round picks.

Strange trade. Does Toronto really think they have a chance of resigning Kawhi Leonard next summer?

I question if they are even top 3 with Kawhi for a season.
I really cannot see kawhi wanting to stay after the year.
I personally put philly and indy above toronto still. And that is with a healthy and motivated kawhi.
If leonard doesnt care about toronto then they have just taken step 1 of a major rebuild and masai going to philly to pick up after bc again.

Yeah they did and we got:
Hayward
Kyrie
Theis
Williams
And assuming Smart is back we lose:
Larkin
I like our odds.

I like our odds as well, but I have gone from 0% fearing the Raptors to assuming they will be the ECF opponent and have a >15% shot at beating us. That's if Kawhi is the real Kawhi, which nobody knows.
