He left the Denver as a treadmill team, and he did to Denver what he did to us over 5 years, make a team with a good regular season record that gets handled in the playoffs.
Yet in Masai we trust, for some reason.
What were the raptors up to before masai arrived?
They were a basement team no doubt, but the team has not improved at all for 3 years.
This is the first major move in the whole time period.
Don't see why he deserves any respect tbh.

**** Masai
LOL wtf. Did the Celtics ruin their image by trading IT?
We traded 1 pick in the 20s, how is that setting the franchise back?
It was there for not even a full season....DD has been the franchise player on this team for 10 years.
Celtics have no problem signing star free agents, we do. Now we have ZERO chance of that ever happening.
can we lose fans like you? cuz we don't deserve you.

they definitely got better every year. maybe a casual fan wouldn't realize that. since they most casual fans are looking for results. but they have improved every single year.

they've stayed just good enough to look good on paper, and yet have not got any better. They actually did better 3 years ago, and then got swept by cleveland 2 years in a row.
Improving isn't hard in a garbage eastern conference.
Now that Philly and Boston are actually going to be respectable, the team will be in trouble.
Hope Kawhi actually brings some enthusiasm or I hope its Masai's last year.

Until Masai is able to somehow convince Kahwi to stay, he hasn't really done much.

We have Leonard. Since you think that's what you think I am, I'll be the first to tell you. This is a great trade for the Raptors. The loser here is you. And people like you. You won't won't have as much room to spread your hate, negativity and display a general lack of knowledge anymore. Did it just sink in that you can't be happy anymore with being able to complain constantly. Wish I could have been there to see it sink in.
Oh... and this post is still not about DD.

Ah yes. Before this we were attracting so many free agents. Remember the good old days of Demarre Carroll and Hedo Turkoglu? Good times
Money, market and winning. That's all the matters.

Masai has been director of the NBA's Basketball Without Borders program since 2002. This is bound to pay off for us eventually. Potentially big time.

Hope you clowns stop assuming things from now on. We as fans don't know what the real intentions of players and front office staff really are. What they say in the media is not an indication of their true thoughts.

Credit for the bold move, but as the zen master says: we'll see

shakes my head at casual fan. do you even watch the games? i guess not because you don't watch the on court product at all. How i know you're a casual fan: "To look good on paper" How they play together is the key to this whole operation. They are one of the best teams in the NBA offensively and defensively.
you criticize the whole system yet you show little to no knowledge of the big picture or even how good of a team they are. This was the best Raptors teams and one of the best teams in the NBA last year, yet you **** on them because you're a casual fan. the worst type of fans in the whole world. Its better to not talk about something you don't know anything about than to talk about them as if you do and then demand the world of them
