Ayton/Young/Sexton feel like the ones that will have the usage and playing time to have a chance.

JJJ/WCJ/Doncic might very well be more impactful towards winning basketball, but I don't think they'll have the counting stats / high usage role you often need to win it.

I think JJJ will emerge as one of clear cut best players of this class

Oh jeez, it's already happening.

100% chance we have to hear about how he's really 6'10-6'11 next summer. :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

It's my opinion that Doncic will be the most impactful player but Ayton will get the stats most like and win it. Doncic Has to compete with Smith still for primary ball handling duties, which would keep him away from his natural PG position.

It happens with every 6'8-6'9 prospect. Suddenly, he's a 7' with guard skills, despite you know, not being close to that tall or even growing by any visible amount.

It's annoying, and it's a way a lot of fans on this board make themselves feel better about a prospect.

I mean, at the combine, Knox was 6'9" with a 6'11.75" wingspan as an 18 year old. So it's not like any of us are banking on him growing more to avoid being undersized. It was just a minor tidbit from an interview with his father that was more exciting to us because of what it told us about his work ethic & mindset.

I find it more annoying that everyone stills refers to Embiid as 7'0.

Having a better prospect. The more inches they add to it, the more they can brag about it. ;)

So-and-So Grew X inches and added 10+ lbs of muscle are my two favorite offseason reports.

Depends. I refer to someone like Embiid or Tyson Chandler as a 7' because they are actually legitimately around that height. It just seems like they are like 7'3 or something because they tower over all of the guys that are actually like 6'9 or maybe 6'10 that get called 7 footers by their fans that are trying to prop them up even higher.

Out of curiosity, how tall do you think Embiid is, barefoot?

Didn't Knox shoot like 35% or something during summer league? And have a 1:2 asst/TO? I only watched his first game and he looked good so I'm not trying to put my own judgment on the table; but athletes who can control the ball are the exact type of guys that look great in SL since the game is basically fast-break pick-up against shaky defensive schemes.
