Sometimes I wonder how all this coddling of star prospects impacts their future maturity.

The kid is going into 8th grade. Couldn’t he change his mind and attend a different high school w/ zero consequences? And once in high school isn’t he allowed to move around from school to school then if he wants as well. This is hardly like a college letter of intent where he commits to a school for an NCAA scholarship, an NBA contract, etc. - but people seem to be treating it as such. Just really premature on so many levels. Lol.

It's inappropriate for the media to be reporting on what school an 8th grader is going to IMO.

Obviously it negatively affects many young celebrities. Lebron handled it as well as any you can think of and without the family structure his son will have for example It's actually quite amazing to be called the "choosen one" at like 15 years old and turn out at well rounded as he has. Seriously about the worse thing anyone gives him grief over was the decision TV show that at the root was a charity event. They just totally missed how it would play out, and even that was minor.
