Either you want to

1) don’t trade him
2) trade him for contracts that go past 2019

In both cases you don’t want a big fish to go along with KP and the young guys. What do you want ?

Keep in mind we can’t even trade Lee and people think we can trade Noah lol.

We’re still rebuilding. We’re not ready to make out move. Damn, show some patience. Sometimes a slow hand is needed. And I’m not trading off any assets to get these guys either. Our move is in 2021.

In 2021 that stretched Noah contract wont be on the books. NOw if they mean its 3 years after his contract is up then its a terrible move. BUt 3 years from now is not bad.

When his contract is up. At that point, we're fcking golden. AND our young kids will have some experience under their belts and will be able to contribute to a winning team. Everybody will want to come to play for the Knicks. :D

That's pretty much my stance. I'm not in any frigging hurry. Some guys are strutting some leaky diapers and are always in a hurry to drop their load by signing whatever stinky max cat crosses their path. So tired with this right now crap

Depends when KP comes back and how well our team gels early on. Fiz might have that magic touch.

Yeah under Fiz, guys & the Team will generally do much better. But like I said before, I think they only show Porzingis enough for 2019 FAs (big or small), then shut him down.

Either way, we're likely Lottery bound. Unless Knox pulls a Tarum.

Except we wouldn’t really have gained any flexibility from waiting for Noah to expire because with THJr & KP’s extension we’d only have 1 max slot anyways. Which we’ll still have with a stretched Noah if we don’t sign a max cat this summer.

i think we renounce access to the BAE when we drop under the cap to make any signings, but I’m not sure that we wouldn’t regain access to it after making our signings and going back over the cap.

Washington. Adding the 16yo-banging Dwight Howard was the only way for that locker-room to get more dysfunctional than it already was and that's exactly what they did.
