I don't have enough time to participate, but peeped the last ones.. it was entertaining but way too subjective at the end and sort of fizzled out at that point. The drafting is of course the fun part but it shouldn't just end there.

Personally, to keep it fun..

A) I would involve like, once you guys finish your drafting, the owner of the label has to produce an album name/tracklist (15 songs max/both of which you have to personally name and come up with yourself). You get to curate and name each song/the features/producer, and every drafted person on your label would have to appear at least once on the album. Other people can be on as many or as little tracks as they want. If you want to go super in depth, maybe provide a small description of content matter of each song.

B) Provide cover art for your album. Photoshop geniuses obviously might have an upper hand but just picking out a dope photo and cropping it can capture the eye too.

I think that would make for way easier and more fun judging, and you get to actually have more control over what sort of sound your label has instead of just making people imagine what some mashed up album would be with a bunch of artists on it.

when's the draft starting?

It'll be tough if the draft starts next week, but I'll try to do what I can.

Mecca already chose TDE?

I'm not sure of the label tho. It's either the Roc (Chaka) or BMF (Meech) or Czar (Henchman). I think I'm gonna go in a complete different direction than what I did the last two drafts.
