This might not be significant. A slight tear can be reattached or snipped off. It's not like trying to recover from an ACL.

There was never really much hope if our whole season was resting on the shoulders of Jon freaking Leuer.

Well I agree, but sadly that's our situation. We shouldn't have lost Tolliver, he was too important.

yeah when i saw the first report that he had surgery on a knee injury i was like ah ffs he tore his acl.
a meniscus injury is a lot less severe, depending how bad it was recovery can be anywhere from 1-4 months.

The guy wasn’t good most of the time he was healthy. He was only decent the first few months here.
God I just get angry when I think of all the dead money on this team.

The pistons were projected to win 37.5 games and be a 8 seed in the east before this injury by the sportsbooks. After this injury they will be projected to win 37.5 games and be a 8 seed. Leuer does not move the needle in any direction hes just not good.

Did anyone ever figure out who SVG was bidding against for Leuer?

Wasn't bidding with anyone. It was the summer the salary cap jumped high quickly. How Warriors got Durant. He didn't want to bid against anyone so he gave him an offer he can't refuse. Leuer is worth half his contract based on what I saw. Now he's worth less so we're stuck with him for two more seasons. His recovery time isn't long though. He'll be back by preseason I believe
