Tony's daughter was hilarious on the latest podcast. Tony and Andy have good chemistry. I like the podcast a lot so far.

They do have have great chemistry and very different ways to look at the game. A lot of good nuggets about the team as well.

Some of the preseason forecasts for the NBA's TOP 50 Players for the 2018-2019 season are coming out.

This one below has DM ranked at #19 and Ben Simmons at #16. It has big men Gobert, Adams and Capela ranked at numbers 41,42 and 46 respectively.
https://thebiglead.com/2018/07/16/lebron-james-kevin-durant-kawhi-leonard-anthony-davis-steph-curry/2/

Klay Thompson is ranked #10: "The least-talked-about star on the Warriors is tailor-made for the NBA in 2018. It is nothing short of criminal that the best combination of shooting and defending in the NBA is not allowed to shine brighter. While there is a good chance he remains a Warrior, he should strongly consider becoming the first option somewhere else. Thompson has averaged 20+ ppg four straight seasons."

They ought to switch DM and Gobert.

Who the hell is Bobby Burack? Those rankings are a joke. Eric Gordon ahead of Gobert? What? Tobias Harris? Lou Williams? SERIOUSLY? Brandon Ingram? WTF? Haywood?

538 predicts 54 wins for Jazz, which is encouraging since it is not just some guy pulling stuff out of his backside.

538 having the Blazers only winning 39 games is a bit of a head scratcher, though.

Most projection models are very optimistic about the Jazz. Pelton's model put us at 53.4 wins too. Pelton's model has been doing better than CARMELO-based projections...

That’s what happens when you yank a starter after 3 minutes.

So 538 has us with the same record as the Rockets at 54 wins and Kevin Pelton has us slightly ahead at 53.4 vs. 53 wins. That's a pretty darn big fall for the Rockets from last year's 65 wins, but many of us were saying tht we thought the Rockets would drop back in to the pack. Las Vegas still has a pretty big spread between us and the Rockets, 54.5 wins for Rockets and 48.5 wins for the Jazz. I'll probably take the over on the Jazz again.

Well, Favors was kind of an honorary starter. The 4th quarter PF minutes were being played by Crowder mostly.

Bambi on crack is such a good way to describe this play and his offensive game as a whole, h/t Bob Voulgaris. Exum has come a long way after starting out as a stand in the corner, don't **** up guy in his rookie year.

I still like that he went to the rim though.
In '03-'04, Jerry Sloan coached the ESPN predicted "worst team of all time" to 42-40.
