doesn't work. you can't use a TPE like that. it would have to be big enough to absorb one of Biz or Marvin straight up.

Would you guys consider Frank to Boston for Morris and Yabuselle?

Me personally, no. I really want to see what Frank does in a new system with a new coach.

More importantly the contracts don't work for a trade. The Hornets would have to include someone and there is no easy match, or Boston would need to include a third player and Charlotte could then include a bigger contract.
My picks:
2020 Draft (3rd pick) - Tyrese Haliburton, Devin Vassell, or Onyeka Okongwu
2021 Draft (11th pick) - Moses Moody

From the trade board:

Charlotte; Biyombo, Lamb, WHG, two 2nds (call it 2019 Washington and 2020 Cleveland)
Charlotte; Whiteside, Ajinca

Interesting.

Interesting if we're dead set on repeating the Dwight mistake.

We absolutely have to send out more long term salary otherwise we're straight up not going to have space under the luxury tax for Kemba. Whiteside's play is definitely more conducive to winning than Howard, but his attitude is trash and I don't think he's worth risking a quarter of the salary cap on right now while we're in such a crunch. Ask me again next summer when he only has 1 year left on it and we've already brought Kemba back.

I wish.

I'd add Bridges and our 2019 1st to make that happen.

If that’s all it took an sign us all up. Heck, I’ll even add in a first if that’s what it took to seal the deal. Unfortunately, it’ll most likely require the conversation starting with either Monk or Bridges since I assume Kemba is a firm no go and that you’d want to pair the two together.

Adding Bridges is too rich for me, but I'd be willing to include our 2019 1st

either Monk or Bridges would have to be included to get Butler. They probably ask for both.

MKG, Monk and a 1st would be my first offer

He's a star in basically the final year of his contract (his next year is a player option he'll decline). PG went for Oladipo and Sabonis. While Kwahi went for Derozen. My initial thought is we could have him for a first and cap filler, but after taking a step back and looking at it I think what Diop said is what we'd have to throw on the table. The 1st would probably be around pick 20. It would then depend on how high the Wolves are on Monk. Honestly, a Kemba Butler lineup would work well but they'll both soon be on the wrong side of 30. I do think we'd have a good chance to resign Butler, but we'd have to go over the salary cap. I'd be apprehensive to do this trade and would probably decline. For MKG, Lamb, and a 1st? I'd do it in a heartbeat and even throw in an unprotected first.

I would do the full slate BizGilWaker mentioned - Miles Bridges, Lamb, MKG, and the 2019 first for Jimmy Butler

The pick will likely end up in the mid-20's and Lamb is probably not going to be resigned anyway, so the way I see it, we're really just losing Miles to replace MKG with Jimmy Butler.

Although it would be be pretty tight if we could send out Batum instead of MKG and Lamb, so in case Butler leaves we'll have at least gotten out of Batum's contract.

The fit would be filthy good with Kemba, and we know Jimmy loves MJ so it could be a PG situation in OKC, and he might end up returning, who knows

I'd offer maximum, MKG, one of Monk or Bridges, Kaminsky, and if they want him too, Bacon, plus a lotto protected 1st, for Butler, and whoever needs to be in to make it work, maybe a small contract or whatever (CJ Williams, etc)

Including Lamb doesn't make much sense, Minnesota doesn't want more salaries and his+MKG already amounts Butler's $$ and he alone doesn't make it doable even adding up Monk and Frank to the pack, so Lamb is a keeper in that situation

MKG, Kaminsky and Monk for Jimmy works perfectly, plus a pick, that leaves you with;

Walker-Parker-Graham
Butler-Lamb-Macura
Batum-Bridges
Williams-Bacon-Wilkins
Zeller-Hernangomez-Biyombo

and you can sign guys like Nick Young, Quincy Acy, Luke Babbitt, to round up the rotation, in the end you can have 9 guys;

Walker-Parker
Butler-Lamb
Batum-Lamb
Williams-Bridges
Zeller-Hernangomez

plus Biz and Graham if there are injuries, that roster probably can be a top5 team injuries permitting, certainly better than the Pacers if Borrego is any good

add Kaminsky to the offer and you got it, exact salaries, the 1st would have to be lotto protected for me to be in, but the Wolves know that Charlotte+Butler is a Playoff team 100% so, that's no drama

Would love Butler but he wants to be in LA, with the Clips no less. I get increasingly bummed ☹️ on how key players are star struck by big markets, big branding and celebrity destinations. Makes me appreciate Kemba’s desire to be here all the more.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.
