Does Milton have the speed to play WR at the next level?

I love Milton and think there’s a legit chance he goes down as the greatest college player in UCF history, but Baker Mayfield he is not.

Mayfield is 6’1” 215 with a much stronger arm than people realize. Milton is 5’11” 185 and simply doesn’t have the velocity on his throws that Mayfield does.

I would be absolutely shocked if Milton went to the pros after this season. There’s just no scenario where he’s going to be given a legitimate shot as a QB at the next level.

Yeah, I don’t see Milton going to the nfl (early) given his size. He certainly has the talent for the next level.

Kyler Murray might have a say about himself as potentially the greatest Sooner, I saw his highlights from the game Saturday, his moves and his arm are sick!

I wonder what times the UCF vs SMU and Florida vs LSU would be on October 6th. If one is a day game and another is a night game, I think I go to both. Some Gator games start at 3:30 eastern time, That wouldn't work.

Great news.

Now, if most will actually stay past halftime .....

Worth the time to watch this video. The sentinel seems to be embracing UCF (at least for now).

UCF is coming off a 39-point win in its opener.

South Carolina State lost its first game by 31.

Geez.

What's the line on this game? The Knights really need to think about a 40 point+ win to move up in the polls.

I might still be bitter, but I hope Colorado destroys Nebraska.

Uncharacteristically terrible game from Milton, but I'd rather him do it now against an FCS than later in the year against someone better.

This game felt like a Milton Berle game to borrow an expression from Bill Simmons. They pretty much played vanilla schemes and just tried to get out of the game as healthy as possible.

Gosh, I hope that was a fluke from Milton. This game will likely, single-handedly destroy any Heisman hopes he may have had. You can't throw 3 interceptions against an FCS team and call yourself the best in the game. This was the first time I've seen jitters from Milton since his freshman year. Honestly, there were times where I was wondering if he was hurt. Hopefully, he shakes this off easily.

Well the final score will be what the pollsters were expecting. Given that this was only a 3-quarter game, the 38 point win will not blemish the Knights hopes.

Admittedly I am a Homer in saying this, but Wisconsin's Jonathan Taylor running behind arguably the best offensive line this year, could crush the season rushing record. If Bucky goes undefeated to the National Championship game, Taylor would play in 15 games. Frankly a 3000 yard season is very obtainable in that. He would this take Barry Sanders' record by some 350 yards.

Of course there would be a HUGE asterisk to the record, given that Sanders did his 2650 in 11 games.

But still one really has to favor Taylor to win the Heisman, if he stays healthy and the Badgers win out.

The game was meaningless except from a backup players opportunity to get on the field

Some people around us were getting upset at some stuff, but really the final score didn't and won't matter in the weeks ahead.

This was basically an exhibition game that counts.

The team performance was overall flat, play calling vanilla, execution not up to standard.

The best part of the game? There were no apparent injuries ..... and the team was "called out" and reminded that focus and intensity are required each week.

Taylor looks really, really good.
