lol one is not like the other 2. Almost everyone else remaining on the list is the better choice over Horford lol.

Anyways, I went with KAT here as well. Nominate Donovan Mitchell next

What is your arguement against Horford? Idk but he is tremendous on both sides of the floor, a great facilitator as well. I would personally take him for next year over anyone left if just for a year.

Voted Simmons. I'm projecting a bit but I think if he improves this summer he'll easily be the best all around player of the guys we have left. Also add Hayward.

Towns and Simmons were made into major liabilities on defense and offense in the playoffs. I dont think players who can be turned into liabilities by good playoff teams deserve to be voted in this high until they've shown it cant be done again.

Probably voting for George but Horford and Wall are really appealing right now.

That is fair to say on Towns and Simmons. Man Simmons really looked bad

Simmons for me too. He's young and to me had one of the best seasons already among these guys last year if not the best.

Its a toss up between PG and Klay for me, I think PG is the better individual talent, but Klay also outclasses him as a fit/shooter. Hes able to put up 20 PPG as a 3rd option on a team with two other superstars. Its a tough choice, but going with PG on an "Individual talent" level.

Im pretty sour on KAT, last years playoffs lowered his stock by a pretty large margin, he was a complete no show.

Towns is getting insanely underrated now, and you should probably remove Cousins from the list all together at this point.

This is Towns now by a substantial margin.

Also add Mitchell next.

If you were a casual fan and watched last years playoffs and saw Towns, you would think he was a struggling role-player. He can improve his standing this year but those playoffs really hurt his stock on the big stage. Thats probably a big reasoning for the lack of votes.

Then why is Damian Lillard ranked already? Dude couldn't even win a single game in the first round.

Cousins getting no love smh

Ya he's injured, but he's still one of the most dominant bigs in the game. How can people just assume he's significantly worse, you have to go by what you've seen of the player and what we've seen is easily a top 10-15 player

Man, Houston is just way too good of a playoff opponent and way too brutal of a mismatch nightmare for me to outright dismiss KAT like this. KAT in the regular season was an absolute stud and I'm pretty confident he won't repeat his last playoff performance.

Lowry's getting mad underrated here. How many teams can win consistently 50 games year over year without a top 20 player? How many teams can be borderline 60 wins without a top 20 player?

Dame was also 27 and in his 5th playoffs with 30+ games of playoff experience behind him.

KAT was only 22 and in the playoffs for the first time in his career (also went up against a far superior team). KAT also played much better than Dame.

Im not the biggest KAT fan but I think he is starting to get a little underrated on here.

Demar made 3rd team all nba 2 years ago and made 2nd team all nba last year. Its not like Lowry was this one man machine.

What a list. Jokic at 12, but no Towns yet.

22/12/2.5, +20 Net Rating, 5.5 BPM, 5.5 VORP, 25 PER, 65 TS%, +13.5 On/Off.

He should already be ranked, and no one should use the PO excuse against him as long as Lillard is ranked as high as he has been.

Also, when guys like DeMar DeRozan and Klay Thompson are getting more votes than Cousins, then you know something wrong. Cousins should be taken out completely at this point since people don't know where to put him until we get more information.

Absolutely. Demar certainly helped, but nobody is gonna put him top 30, and I dont disagree with that. Lowry has clearly been the best player on a perennial 50 win team that has had more roster turnover than people realize.

That said. This is Towns spot. It shouldve been Towns spot like right after Jokic

I definitely would have Demar in the top 30. I think hes in the 20-25 range, I think his all nba teams were justified. With that said I am a Demar fan (somewhat). But yes I am in no way making an argument for Demar of KAT. I think this is KAT 100%.

This to me all depends. Are we ranking who are going to be the best players this year? Then ya I wouldnt have Cousins because he is going to miss most of the year and I think he wont be close to fully back this year. But if we arent just talking about this year and saying who are the best players overall, ya I think Cousins next seasons will be back to his dominant ways and I have him as a top 15 player.
