Great teammate. Can be a solid back up center...but is a great positive teammate and will always be cheering from the bench. A fan favorite in Phoenix. Everyone refers to him as Big Sauce, though I'm not sure how he got that nickname.

Wanted him since before the off season started, thought we would of had to pay him a decent amount of Ms but we got him on the cheap, Marks keeps getting assets.

Nice pickup - I expect he will be up with the big club most of the year (and at least 1 of Kurocs/Musa likely down in the G League).

There's a limit on the amount of time a 2way contract can spend on the main roster (45 days).

Excellent value with good potential reward signing. Most 2-way contracts are really G-leaguers but Williams is a legit NBA backup PF/C although a bit small. Is the knee holds up, he will be a rebounding beast.

We've talked about Musa and Rodi obviously but is it time to talk about Williams? He's flat out dominating in the d league, and unlike the other two young guys, have had legitimate burn and success in the NBA

REALLY need to start paying attention to this guy.
Williams tallied 28 points (11-23 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 5-6 FT), 21 rebounds and three assists in the 126-120 win over the Herd on Friday.

That's Williams second 20-plus rebounding outing in December, as the center registered 27 in the category against the Red Claws two weeks ago. Easily one of the most dominant players at his position in the G League, Williams has outplayed his opposition to the point where he seems like a strong candidate to join his NBA affiliate at some point down the road.

Nets need to stop the B.S.

Bring him up to the big boy squad. RHJ is most likely out for a minute. Time to give him an opportunity.

So it sounds like he was offered more money in China. Can't really blame him for trying to maximize his earnings, especially since he was on the NBA roster bubble to begin with. Disappointing though, really thought he could grow into a backup C role similar to what Davis does for us now.
