I never liked the old logo, personally. It was a blatant ripoff of the Lakers' logo. I'd prefer a logo that actually features a clipper ship. Maybe something along the lines of these concepts I found on Google, but with the San Diego-era colorway.

I always liked that unused logo (though it could use an actual clipper ship instead of just a wave). The uniforms that were apparently supposed to go with it look very '90s. Like, I could see those having the same appeal as the Raptors', Suns' and Grizzlies' uniforms from that era. On the flipside, though, we definitely would have needed another rebrand for the 2000s.

Not bad.. I agree though that the logo needs another circle of some kind around it. It would add more depth

I actually liked the fact that they used speed lines since it's reminiscent of the ones used in the original L.A. Clippers logo, but the fact that it was actually inspired by the 1984 Olympic team during the team's inaugural season in Los Angeles makes it extra cool. Of course, I particularly like Ralph's signature commemorating his final season with the team.
