this is between me and Doc. Go back to the kiddy table! i''ll join you over there for the food fight in a minute. BTW, BIG NEWS TODAY!!  yeah it was all a set up and an attempted coup as nate and i have said for 2 years. But Let's leave this thread alone to the grown ups? Per Doc's request. Do it for Doc?

No man, THIS is the thread where you are supposed to be called a leaky colostomy bag of fetid worm infested conspiracy theories. Maybe even pick a fight over there and then take it to this one. Because that thread used to be calm and thoughtful reasonable adults. And now is often unreadable ME vs YOUism. Over there we ought to be all americans who disagree on the nuances of what freedom costs and how that bill is divvied up. Over here, is where you are supposed to be accurately understood that you got your head so far up your own rectum that your mouthwash is an enema. But of course as usual you got it all backwards :clown:

SOOoooo....i wrote that whole thing for nothin?

No but it seriously sounds like you long for the days when humans beings were better behaved and 'merica worked better for everyone? Sounds kinda MAGA, bro! But seriously tho, i wrote that for nothing? You specifically said that you were not interested in that thread due to the malarky so I wrote you a thoughtful post over here with a strict socialist agenda...and all you got is insults? I thought you didn't want the insults and preferred the dialogue? Or maybe you actually dont know the issues that well and dont want to put in the work to learn? I mean you wouldn't be the first liberal to think he knows everything and knows little to nothing. Not saying that is the case but.......

Maybe you just........gahhhhht NUThin? I mean..."the country is divided?" That's all you got? No rhymes no rhythm? No rhetoric, no reason? Nothing knew? You noticed "the division?" So sit the bench? complain all damn season? That's it? It's not the system? Or the banks? thought you were in this for the kids....not the fame. "The nuances in the "billz?" that your take? we just need "a little more of this" baked into the cake? From a "social" claimin "izzo?" You sure? Or you just scared? Or busy? Or Maybe you da Clizzo? :clown:
like i said, its a full rebuild.

LOL I appreciated the post. And the sentiment. it was just off topic for this thread, as all the insults are off topic for that one. Started a long thoughtful reply then realized a) its more off topic for this thread which is about how much of an ass you are :) and then b) halfway into the long thoughtful post I realized I have a seven year old kid and a day off interrupted by an appointment mid day. So dropped only a place holder promise on two fronts: 1) I will respond to your thoughtful response. 2) I will more properly insult you later HERE when I have less important things to waste my time on. :)))

All ‘Trade Brad’ and ‘Dump Wall’ proposals will be entertained here. Then thoroughly mocked and jeered at.

We may have to sticky this. Something wrong with these people.

There’s no polite way to answer so I’ll answer in the dialect of Bensonhurst:

“Fuggouttaheah... You believe this guy? Samatta you. You got kicked in da head? Take your one year expiring carcass out this thread and back to wherever dahell you came from. I’ll tell you what you can do with your one year expiring contracts. You can roll them into a tight little cylinder the size of a tampon and poke them right up where da sun don’t shine. It a be a tight fit cuz evidence suggests yer head is already well tucked up there.

“This guy...”

Now let me translate:

“No.”

Read the headline where the Wiz are planning to sign Beal to as Max an extension as possible.

Also: the owner of the team is in daily contact with John Wall during his rehab, just calling to chat with his buddy and fully expecting him to come back 100%.

Also, $30 million of that Wall max salary is paid by insurance.

Also, even if it weren’t: Steve Jobs widow is co-owner of the team. We’re not hurting for money.

Also: we paid lux tax already to pay Wall and Beal. The plan is to continue to build around them. We’re hiring staff trying to build a franchise philosophy of hard work and good character guys. Building around Beal is the cornerstone of that new direction. Beal has been involved in the draft and free agent decisions and is good friends with our new GM. The team is not trying to dump him. The team is trying to retire his jersey and give him a job in the front office after his playing days are over.

And you’re offering expiring deals. That’s it. Fuxsamattawitchu.

Look at the pick haul Nawlins got for AD. And the haul that the Clips got for PG. Now recognize that the Clips called our team second to make a trade for Beal and we turned them down. Read that part again. The Thunder got a billion and a half pics from the Clips and prospects. But _before they called about PG_ they called us and were politely told what I’m telling you. No. No. Never. Not under any circumstances.

New York does not, has not, will never have, enough assets to make any trade enticing. But you want our five time all star and two time all star for free. You been huffing inhalants again. Don’t do that man. You got a future ahead of you. Or maybe you don't, I dunno. You’re a fan of the Nix. Did you ask anyone on the Knicks board about this trade idea before you came over here? Did they laugh?

From the Bradley Beal thread.

But but but... Kevin Knox is worth like 5 first rounders by himself - he's dreamy looking and was one of the highest scoring rookies in the NBA - and the Knicks drafted him, so of course he's got lots of trade value!!! So, what if he had the single worst eFG in the NBA for someone who scored over 10 points per game. He scored 16.1 points per 36 - for you stat nerds!!! And he did that taking less than 16.1 shots per game. So what that he did basically nothing else; he shot a lot and scored... some.

You know how people say PER is a mis-leading stat, because it values scoring too much for players who shoot too much. Well... it can't even help someone who sucks as bad as Kevin Knox. His PER was 8.7 - that's McDonald''s backup fries chef bad. The love for Knox shows why the Knicks signed Bobby Portis for $30.75 million (2 years). Knicks fan Ernest Grunfeld of Romania gives kudos and love to Dolan and Company - says the competition for Bobby P must have been fierce.

Why are you delivering a Kevin Knox rant, I didn't even mention his name. The only thing I mentioned is taking John Wall's contract off your hands as the price for Beal. Perhaps the 2 Dallas Firsts from the Porzingis trade could be included.

Right. You want to get our 2-time all star. And in exchange you’re willing to take our 5 time all star off our hands. How nice of you. Your head is so far up your colon you use shampoo as an enema. The helloutta here.

John Wall has negative value (i.e. like Andrew Wiggins, Kevin Love, etc.) because of his contract . I guarantee you that no team would take him for free. You would have to incentivize it for someone to take him.

It’s cool. Add generic Knicksfan to the list of heads he’s going to take. The team is building around his comeback. Paired with Beal. Nobody is trying to take the scraps of your dumpster fire franchise. We get a 30 million dollar coupon this year from insurance to cover John's contract. We have the 2nd richest woman in the world who bought into the franchise, and who will sit on the board and meet with players. We are not worried about cap in the same way others are. We just wired our arena to take advantage of in game betting prospects. We just built a new training facility and arena for our WNBA and G League teams. We paid lux tax just to reward our top 3 draft talent. The team bought an entire medical staff in their rework of the front office this year and the owner chats with Wall on a daily basis to follow his rehab. The cap is irrelevant if the team is trying to reshape its future.

And if you listen to John Wall’s focus he’s planning to roast critics alive when he’s back on court. He put up 20 and 8 last year on a bad leg. Averaged close to 20 & 10 for his career but reports suggest he’s been playing on bone spurs since he came into the league. And will finally have a full year to build real strength under biometric guidance instead of being hardheaded and trying to ignore pain and do it his own way.

His mom’s cancer, the birth of his son, hearing the critics, growing up— the John Wall you saw before was putting up 20/10 while partying all the time. This one is in the video room with assistant coaches and striking jumpers in the gym for a year. And he and Beal talk all the time about playing together and plans when he gets back. So. No. Your opinion has no value. You don’t get him. Not even for your yearly lotto picks.

Because 99% of Knicks fans have been completely delusional about Knox. If you're one of the 1%, then you know that.

Right. But, that's too high a price.

Not to mention that I challenge you to construct that trade in the trademachine -- you take on $65m in added salary this year; what do you give that allows that trade to happen?

Even were it possible, even if for some reason it looked like a good idea for the Wizards, it would be a disaster for the Knicks! Respectfully, your roster is already a nightmare. You have 4 guys who one could argue are worth having & worth what they're being paid (Randle, Payton, Robinson & Brazdeikis).

If you were interested in a trade that included Robinson, the 2 Dallas picks, & god knows how many of your R1 picks over the coming years, then I could imagine negotiating with you. Even in that case, however, it would be virtually impossible to structure something that worked in the trade machine.

Given the above, perhaps you can understand that if you suggest something utterly impossible, giving every indication that it has never occurred to you to see whether/how it might work (i.e. that it doesn't), while pontificating your guarantees of what it would take to rid ourselves of John Wall's contract, you might come off looking like a neophyte &/or a dimwit, right?
Breaking News: In a shocking development, Wizards owner Ted Leonsis has sold the NBA franchise to a consortium of participants in a discussion board devoted to the team on realgm.com. Details to follow....

The Knicks have roughly 60 million in expiring contracts. If the Wizards did indeed want go get out from Wall’s contract and was willing to pay the price of Beal the Knicks have the expiring deals to make it happen.

Look, dude, no one is going to empty your trash can for you, ok? Not happening. We are not the ones with the problem. That would be you.

Worse yet, your FO spent the Summer signing more trash. No one wants your players. & now you don't even want them. Who can blame you? But, if you want to suggest something to help your team, start by firing your FO.

Let's say Murray and Jokic are off the table, what would you guys ask from Denver for Beal? Would there be a package that WAS fans would say "okay, nice trade" or something like that? Would it be around Harris? One of Barton/Plumlee would have to be included due to salary(unless you guys want Millsap but I don't think you do). What would be fillers besides those 2? Beasley, Juancho, Vanderbilt, MPJ, Bol Bol, Morris? Is it possible to create a package with 1 out of every group with some picks added?
1st: Harris
2nd: Barton, Plumlee
3rd: Beasley, Juancho, Vanderbilt, MPJ, Bol Bol, Craig
4th: Picks(few 1st round picks and some 2nd round?)

Would it be possible to take one out every group and make a trade both teams and fans would like?(take 2 from 3rd group if needed, and more than one pick of course)

I think a Beal to Denver trade would require: Harris, Porter Jr., Morris, Beasley and a 1st. Basically, Denver trades all of their young depth for one star.

To provide the roster spots, the Wizards would have to send back a handful of minimum salary guys like Bonga, McRae and Robinson. I haven't run the numbers yet, but that would probably require Denver to throw in one more salary, maybe Hernangomez or some kind of Plumlee for Miles swap.
