I'm guessing he goes one more inning, which hopefully let's us avoid seeing Kelly get in the game.

Woulda gone to the pen with the heart of the order coming up. Hopefully doesn’t come back to bite them here

Again, reading comprehension isn’t your strongest ability. I highlighted the pertinent part.

Try again.

Bad matchup, Sox don’t have elite power hitters. Yep. Try again.

Not like the Yankees do. Who set a record for HR’s?

Workman just might have saved this game.

Fun fact, Sandy Leon has 12 hits since mid July.

Atrocious call there, pitch was well outside

Yup. He had one for strike 2 against Mookie before he hit his double. Those are atrocious calls.

I just hate when umps are inconsistent, that exact location was a ball on pitches last inning by both Brasier and Workman. Just stick with your zone.

The bullpen just flat out isn’t good enough. Can’t flirt with disaster multiple times and not get burned.

So, so so very frustrating.

Big time stuff from Barnes. Tight rope as all hell, but that is a result I’ll take.

I’m kind of surprised that we aren’t seeing any of Steven Wright. I don’t follow baseball closely but I thought Cora would approach things differently since the middle relievers have already shown they can’t get it done.

Knuckleballers are really only good in long relief situations. Too erratic.

He shut the Yankees down last time he faced them. Just seems the Red Sox are in trouble if they stick with their crappy middle relievers who have failed all season.

They are in trouble no matter what pen arm they use.

Steroid man. That whole lineup is on a cocktail. Put it this way. Read an article last year on AAroid. Couple of scouts said they saw him hit BP at the Coliseum in Oakland. I paraphrase but they said “They said they saw AAroid hit balls in BP to places McGwire and Canseco never did.”

Let that sink in for a minute.
