In Portland/Oregon it is on NBC Sports Northwest(I generally just abbreviate it SNW on game threads). NBC Sports Northwest is channel 37( 737 HD) on my Salem Comcast channel.
Trailblazer schedule and tv schedule are available athttps://www.nba.com/blazers/?tmd=1

Well. If Jake can actually hit shots this year that'll make things interesting.

Everyone look good in this 1st quarter. Layman has made such a tremendous leap from last year. Layman is almost on pace to put up 80. 8-)

May be a very good thing as Harkless's knee/ankle has me a bit worried, is Jake a UFA after this yr or do we have any rights?

Simons just seem confident and fearless on offense, for 19 not bad at all

He seems like a guy who benefits from rhythm and getting consistent minutes could do a lot for him. He also seems active off ball which I think will help him getting easy shots often enough.

I think he will at least be able to replace what Connaughton did, and it's looking like he could offer a lot more.

Layman with the ridiculous stat line in this game:

Minutes: 29
Pts: 28
FG: 10-14
3P: 5-7
FT: 3-4
Ast: 4
Stl: 1
+/-: +23

Yeah it's pre-season and the Suns but if he can bring even 60-70% of this on a night in night out basis he will be quite valuable to this team.

Blazers appear to be stacked in depth, so very curious how this translates to non-suns/regular season outings.

I hope Damian and CJ recognized by watching this game that there are other people on the team that can score aside from them. The ball movement was so much better than it was last year with them taking turns going on on one. That's what killed us in the playoffs.

I think that Pelicans series made them rethink things a bit, they needed some help scoring and we are showing we got guys that can hit a shot. Now they need to put 2 and 2 together, but if they are serious about improving as a team it will require some personal stats sacrifice.

With how Damian handles things and his constant chip on the shoulder I really doubt he felt good about how last season ended when they went down as a 3rd seed in a pretty horrible way.
