I am starting to get tingles. I feel a few titles coming.
My spider sense is saying the Warriors don't win the title this year.
Celtics will be the team personally responsible for breaking up the Warriors and sending KD to the Lakers.
Not joking either, I get this funny feeling KD is going to be with Lebron. It's haunting. KD would do that......

Almost losing a 4 -1 lead in the ninth inning - painful
Tearing the heart out of Spanks fans - priceless
Not the way my blood pressure wanted the game to end, but knowing what it did to all the NY fans makes it worth it.

Huge Yankee fan. Red Sox better team. Easily proved it all year.
As far as tearing heart out of Spanks fans?
Really? I don't think any Yankees fans are especially distraught after the loss. If that's what you want, miserable feelings that last for days, this one won't do it. You dont' get that.
I don't know any Yankee fan that is especially crushed by this loss. The Red Sox are better, and the Yankees' weaknesses that they had all year showed up.
The Yankees lost being who they were all year - suspect starting pitching, lack of timely hitting. Stanton didn't hit.
Most Yankee fans said this was the worse 100 win team they have ever seen. Think about how many HRs they hit, then take a look at their Batting Average and OPS. This team just had tremendous raw power. But, it wasn't an awesome offense.

Try spending a little time on the Yanks board - lots and lots of anguish and misery
If it's not that bad for you - congrats! The same definitely can't be said about your comrades. Besides, it's not just the fact the the Yankees lost (like, as you say they were supposed to), it's the fact that they lost to BOSTON, at home, AND that they came SO CLOSE to pulling it off, just to fall short at the end. YUP, it was a real heart tearing loss for most of the posters on the Yankee boards.

We might have to send Demarcus Cousins a Christmas card next year. I cannot wait until Draymond starts chirping at him for a blown defensive rotation. Green can treat Durant like a bitch because he's a beta. Things won't go over so well if he starts yelling at Cousins. I expect a lot of locker room discord from that team this season.

That ninth inning must have been a gut punch, but yeah, every Yankee fan seems to acknowledge the Sox were better this year. All in all, a pretty civil series, even among fans.
It's a shame the two best teams are both in the AL. The Stros are pretty scary. But so are the Sox.
