Anthony Davis Parts Ways With Agent Thad Foucher

Anthony Davis has parted ways with his longtime agent Thad Foucher.

Rich Paul is a leading contender to sign Davis, though he could possibly sign with another agent.

Davis has two years and $52 million left on his contract with the Pelicans, plus a $29 million player option for the 2020-21 season.

Davis is eligible for a supermax contract worth $230 million beginning in 2019.

But to be fair if we offered Lauri Markannen and our 2019 1st (which may or may not wind up lottery)
would you discuss an AD trade? Would that be the centerpieces?

now? hell no we'd riot by the millions, and thats hardly the best offer

maybe in a year if that 2019 pick is top 3, not trading davis unless were forced to.

Bill Simmons had on some guest on his podcast.

First thing was speculating on whether the Pelicans owner really cared about the team as much as the Saints. They also wondered how passionate fans in New Orleans were about the team, implying that it was much more a football team.

Simmons said if the Seattle investors group which wanted an NBA team offered $2 or $2.5 billion for the team, would she turn it down?

Second, they said AD may get frustrated if the team didn’t at least get to the WCF. Supposedly AD didn’t care that they swept Portland, since they lost in the next round. So if the Warriors or some other team beat them in the playoffs again, AD won’t sign that super max extension next summer.
