Off to a rough start with those corner 3s:
"I don't know of any player that, when the shot goes up, he doesn't want it to go in," Donovan said

can we talk about how great the raptors have drafted the past three years?
2015 delon wright
2016 jakob poetl, pascal siakam, fred vanvleet udfa
2017 og anunoby
five decent to downright elite role players with only one lottery pick.

Masai had some duds at first (Caboclo, Daniels), but since 2015 his drafting was very solid, no complete misses. Anunoby can someday become a Kawhi-lite.

He's better than Irving and I won't be convinced otherwise.
Kemba is invisible only because he plays in Charlotte. If he ever found his way to another team, he would wreck havoc. If he somehow wound up in Milwaukee with Giannis... OMG.

Boston and Toronto have some serious depth.

Man, with doncic, young, and JJJ this is shaping up as one of the most fun rookie classes to watch. These guys are coming into the league with more skills than we've seen in the last 10+ years.
“If you're getting stops and you're making threes and the other team's not scoring, that's when you're going to see a huge point difference there,” coach Billy Donovan said.

Seeing the Mavs and the Wolves score in the 140s & 130s makes me even more annoyed that we couldn't even get out of the low 90s the other night against the Clippers. LAC's defense is good, not that good (or shouldn't be).

Now that I’ve actually seen the spitting, I’m going to say rondo is a punk. This was not a rivalry or important game. Also, what’s the deal with Ingram’s overreaction? In this instance I think the rockets are relatively innocent. CP3 will get a suspension for throwing a punch but I’ll be disappointed if his suspension is the same and rondo’s.
Edit:
I’m good with this.
Edit:
Lakers forward Brandon Ingram received a four-game ban, teammate Rajon Rondo got three games and Rockets guard Chris Paul got a two-game suspension.
I’m good with this.

Scores are starting to normalize a bit more now. There are games going into OT that don't have insane scores. Hope that continues.
It also figures that Boston would play one of their worst games ever tonight and probably be out of their funk just in time for the game on Thursday. I can only hope they don't figure it out by Thursday.

That's an unfair comparison. The Warriors have already played 5 games compared to our 3.

That would be insane, but they can't be all picks, has to be at least 1 swap. You can't trade 2 consecutively, they have none owed to them, and can't trade more than 5 years out (2024).
Edit: NVM I was wrong, but:

Re: Around the NBA: 2018—19
I realize we don’t have anything close to four frp’s to offer but if Sam didn’t try for butler, I’ll be disappointed. I was reading on the wolves board about KAT, and there is some talk about how he is better suited for the four if they could get a defensive center. I’ve said before that Adams is my favorite player on the team but it’s time to throw sustainability out the window and make a serious run at something beyond a first round exit. Go for it or rebuild.

Saw this on the GB in the thread about Kevin Durant calling the wizards weak:
Michael Jordan wrote:"They are weak"
Hi I'm Kevin Durant, I was an MVP candidate who joined a 73 win team after they came back from down 3-1 to beat me and I approve this message.

If the rockets lose tonight I don't think we're the biggest disappointment of the short season.
“If you're getting stops and you're making threes and the other team's not scoring, that's when you're going to see a huge point difference there,” coach Billy Donovan said.
