Here's another interesting thing about Ingles... He's the (seemingly) least athletic guy on the roster... but has been by far the most durable player on the team for the past few seasons. This roster has been like a set of delicate ceramic tea cups over the past couple of seasons but Ingles is made of of nails.

In '03-'04, Jerry Sloan coached the ESPN predicted "worst team of all time" to 42-40.

Put him on the Suns and he would be unknown, like TJ Warren. There would be no threads about top 30 or even top 100.

People underestimate situation. There are a lot of guys who in the perfect situation would draw a lot of positive attention but are currently never discussed.

What is this? Joe's improvement in the last year was a product of Utah being desperate to replace some of what they lost in Haywood. He's a much better player now that he is no longer playing next to such a player. Utah told him he needed to do more and he responded greatly. Utah had to become a worse team in order to find out Joe's true capabilities.

So pretty much the opposite of what you are trying to say.
New York said Mitchell wasn't the guy you trade the sink for, then they traded it for Mikal, lol.

“The other day I saw one of his games. He was running with the ball at a hundred per cent full speed, I don’t know how many touches he took, maybe five or six, but the ball was glued to his foot. It’s practically impossible.”

I hope u got a good return, ingles is gonna be a problem this yr.

Sent from my SM-N950W using RealGM mobile app

I really needed a big man that could shoot FTs well and block some shots, so I got Aldridge for Ingles + Teague + Steven Adams

Bit of an overpay but I think it will be worth it

Great. You've just jinxed him.

Not surprising that a more athletic guy would be more subject to injury. Run faster, jump higher, land harder, more likely to get hurt.

Nope. If they weren't a playoff team, no one would talk about Ingles. You could replace him with a number of lesser known SF's and they'd still be a playoff team.

Again, if he played on the Suns, there'd be no top 30 thread.

That doesn't mean he's not good. I'm just saying the hype is in large part due to the situation he is in. That's not to even mention how ridiculous it is to say he's top 30 to begin with.

I think OP was actually half joking but Utah fans came in and ran with it.
