He is my favorite player in the NBA. I absolutely love his playstyle. He is not the ideal defender (though not as bad as people think), but he is such an impact player offensively that he is one of the few players that can make up for it. He does what Vuc did tonight on a consistent basis.

Fat Dončić is still good Dončić lol
Smith with and1 game winner.

Lakers have worst shooters than Magic. If that's even possible.
Toothpick Ingram with some b*** a*** cheap shots.

Random thoughts...

NO ONE is playing defense so far this season. The freedom of movement foul calls are creating an absolute scorefest for virtually every team, every night.

I love Doncic.

Lakers are going to have trouble all year against good teams because of their lack of shooting and rebounding.

Rondo spit on Chris Paul before the punches started flying

Doncic is a genuine joy to watch. Amazing player. Glad to see the Mavs move from one legendary Euro to another pretty good one!

Doncic looks great.

You are right the rules are just a nightmare, it's bull that at the same time offensive players still throw elbows hooks and pushoff without calls. Embiid did it a couple of times to vuc last night and he got frustrated must be tough when you are already heavily outmatched and the one time you do get good position on defense you get a forearm shove and give up points anyway.

Young is going off against the Cavs. 27 points 6 assists half way through the 3rd. Him and Doncic were the players we needed so desperately and we missed them because we just had to win a couple of extra games.

I'm pretty happy with how bamba looks, trae looks to be adapting faster than i expected but i still think he'll be a big night/bad night kind of player. If we could have trae instead of isaac i'd be hyped.

I don't hate Bamba but elite offensive creators are what you need to win in this league and building a team around long athletic defenders that don't create offense is the wrong way to go about it. They'd be great pieces on a good team but we are starting off building around the nice pieces and I don't see a clear path to getting the pieces we need.

Especially with the new freedom of movement laws it's going to be harder and harder to defend well.

Bamba was the best pick for who was available.

I would have taken Doncic or Young over him had they been available, but they weren't.

Definitely Doncic but I wasn’t sold in Young.

Gotta wonder too would trae play like this in orlando? we seem to limit how freely players play so much that i'm not sure how a guy with his play style right now would fare

The board would be a disaster.

I'm pretty sure 35 points on 23 shots and 11 assists in your 3rd game as a rookie points to him being legit. We get all excited if Bamba or Isaac hit double figures.

Although to be fair the Cavs don't really play defence.
