Like I said if we can keep this up all year this is a great start. Add Kp in there and the development of Mitch and we could be looking at a top defensive team for years.

This is with Hardaway and Kanter. Or is it more Frank impact? I even saw Knox playing better D in Brooklyn.

Well the Knicks are 20 points per 100 possessions better on defense with Mario on the court right now. Maybe it is working.

Team full of bad defenders actually giving efffort it maybe there’s a scheme behind it. Either way you can’t sit here and find a way to discredit it. It’s evident in leading the league in steals. Y’all love to discredit real chit. The defense from our first game in preseason carried over and people are just shocked. Good start.

Our halfcourt defense looks great. Boston's no slouch either.

We just can't score yet :lol:

It's coming though with KP returning, Knox maturing, and good ol' Player X in the lotto.

I do think we look significantly better than last year, but we're definitely gonna drop off

Our achilles heel is the same as it's always been. We don't have good enough defenders to contain a simple 1-5 PnR, and teams will continue to exploit that until we fix it

There's other problems of course, but that's the biggest issue for us right now

You can be a bad defender on a good defensive team. If the scheme is right.
