Jontay Porter Out For Season With Torn ACL, MCL

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Mon Oct 22, 2018 1:28 pm

Jontay Porter will miss the entire upcoming season after tearing his ACL and MCL on Sunday.

Porter suffered the injuries during a scrimmage on Sunday against Southern Illinois.

Porter was expected to be a mid-first round pick in 2019. Porter tested the draft waters last spring.

Knee problems have been an issue for the Porter siblings in recent years. Bri Porter, Jontay and Michael's sister, retired from basketball before last season at Missouri after suffering her fifth ACL tear.

Wish him health and good rehabilitation.

Yeah...after the fifth ACL tear in a row, anyone would retire really. And he/she should.

Dammit! He was one of my favorite prospects in next year's draft. This always happens to the prospects I really like.

Maybe stop following prospects?

OP: Best of luck, does that mean he'll need to stay for one more year?

Thanks for the honesty.

You are a fool if you believe any woman can play in the NBA.

I’m convinced it’s their crazy raw vegan diet. That’s not on appropriate diet for an elite athlete.

The only thing you really have to supplement is heme iron.

That does have to do with blood though and the blood is what repairs ligaments so there's maybe something there but it's easily supplemented.

Don't have scientific evidence, but I tend to agree. We are omnivores for a reason.

It will happen within the next decade. Count on it. Only a fool would make a blanket statement about all women.
