I'm starting to sour on Giannis. He's not perfect and I don't think he'll ever be at this point.

He needs to not turn it over 6 times a game.

Giannis is great. Probably the best Buck since Kareem. But his hesitation when he gets the ball open at the top of the key hamstrings this offense at times. Teams know he's afraid to shoot it, so they let him sit up there and close the gaps created by the ball movement and reset. Sometimes this means that Giannis is able to drive and dunk with his incredible natural gifts. Othertimes, it leads to good position for drawing offensive fouls or turnovers because defenders have position on our guys.

He has to get it in his mind that he's either going to release on an open 3 or look to move it immediately, because when he hesitates for even a second, it leads to some really ugly basketball.

Ya that hesitation was old habit. Was annoying seeing it creep up all game. We saw it all last season, we were promised it was gone.

Keep focusing on Giannis while ignoring tons of problems we got. Our defense on PNR is terrible, beyond awful,our guards **** the bed like 90% of the time in games we need em.

Brogdon has done this crap many times before,he overdripples remains static and then forces crap.

Either stop the point crap with him or trade him for a better SG, simple as that. he is a liability on D

I'm sorry, but I'm starting to sour on Giannis, he gets by on physical talents alone. His IQ is below average (shot selection and reading the defense), most of his points are on dunks that he gets by being physically imposing. His passing is good and his defense is great, but it is negated by so many out of control drives this year so far.

Which of my points do you want to dispute? This is a player others are expecting MVP level performance from. He is constantly passing up the open 3 for the long 2, exactly what we hated from Midds last year.

Except we hated it from Midds because he is a talented shooter capable of making 3's, Giannis has never been a good shooter and is trying to build his own confidence.

And souring on Giannis? LOL. Look at the numbers he's putting up and the impact he's having on a game at 23 years old, it's unreal. He's doing all that while needing to improve in the areas you pointed out. You want to bail on a 23 year old with Giannis' work ethic and bet against him figuring it out? Have you been a fan the last decade plus? Giannis needs to be held accountable, but he's still an ultra elite talent.

I’ve finally given up hope that Giannis will be able to hit a respectable percentage of shots from outside. Just not his game.

Bucks never came close.
Well deserved for POR.
Bledsoe had horrible shot selection and brogdon was bad too.
When bledsoe plays like this, he is frustrating to watch.
CJ torched the guards.
And Giannis minutes distribution was awful. Why play the whole 2nd and 3rd?
Btw..he has almost a 1.1:1 ast/turnover ratio.
Anyways, need to win 2 of the next 3.

It felt like the Blazers got a lot of wide open threes, especially in the first half. This is something to keep an eye on as it has been an issue for Bud. Over the six year stretch while he was the coach of the Hawks, the Hawks allowed the most open three pointers in the NBA and the second most overall three pointers. This season, the Bucks are allowing the most open three pointers (22.2 3PA/game without a Bucks defender within 6 feet) and the second most total three pointers (41.0 per game).

Giannis needs to go or move the ball. its as simple as that. don't overthink it.

his hesitations on the top of the offense and the fadeaway postgame needs to chill in this offense. it would send anybody to the bench and he needs to learn from his mistakes the way everybody else needs to.

kinda dumb putting anything on him tho. team has been generally insane. this is how good teams lose the way we did tonight. to hear some of you guys talk we lost by 25. can we wait until we aren't on a 60 win pace with a top 2-3 SRS in the league before we talk **** about the ballclub?
