Wow. Really didn't want to send Cov out...

This is a good trade in a vaccuum. Dario and Rob weren't franchise altering players.

However, I will truly miss Rob. He's a great guy and player.

Yea I will miss Cov a lot...at least we didn't have to give up the Miami pick. Dario, don't let the door hit you on the way out.

With this trade, we will have $17 million in cap space to spend this summer. Hopefully, that's enough to pry someone like Tobias Harris away from the Clippers.

What a trade. Well-done EB. Miss Cov, but come on. Adding Jimmy to Joel and Ben is exactly what we need to be a true title contender.

Wow!!!!

Steep price, but he is a star!

Will miss Covington and Saric. Hopefully it isn’t much more than that.

Wow. If this is true, just wow.

Butler would replace Covington on D and is a big, big upgrade offensively. Saric wasn't going to be the 4 of the future.

Butler's attitude is now going to be the question. Will he play as hard as he can, including back to backs, to help the Sixers win, or maintain the same attitude he had in Minny of wanting to preserve his health for 2019 free agency?
I loved the guy on the Bulls. He was my favorite player. But we'll have to see how his attitude pans out.

I'm not sure what's going to spread the floor now with RoCo gone (and Saric to an extent). Fultz, Simmons, Butler are all ball dominant slashers. Hopefully we don't piss him off lol!!

THis is a great trade. The Sixers blew a 15 point lead last night, because once again, they have no one on their team who can create their own shot and get buckets when they need to. They have to rely on running Redick or Shamet around a million screens.

Now, they have a shot maker, shot creator, and scorer.

Huge move.

JJ, Shamet to start. Jimmy is plenty capable from distance himself.

It isn’t steep if you think about it. We should’ve traded for him instead of Fultz to begin with but better late then never.

Very interested what Lloyd thinks about it. If its just Saric and Cov, I LOVE it.

So Dario finally playing better. Robert Covington is having a good start of the year. Both on cheaper contract.

Sixers losing 2 good 3 point shooters (assuming saric has broken out of his slump). Butler is good but sixers just became smaller losing long arm Covington who can guard 4 positions.

It also eliminates any worry about losing Dario for nothing or having to overpay. Trading him now while he still has some semblance of value is smart. He has not performed well this season.
