Awesome night of fights tonight if you look at the cards in totality. UFC, Bellator, and LFA all on. The DVR space is going to be tested.
UFC's got Usman-RDA, Munhoz-Caraway, and Aguilar-vs. RZ's boy Glenn all worth watching that are televised. Usman's pressure I think will disarm RDA, Caraway I think will out-work Munhoz, and I think the Angel of Death will come for RZ's boy. Glenn looked his best against Bermudez, but Aguilar's arrival to the UFC is long overdue. He effed up Thanh Le, Damon Jackson, and won up a weight class in DWTNCS. Anticipation may get to him, but if not I think Glenn's lack of defense is exploited by a skilled and powerful wrestle-boxer. Barcelos is also opening the early prelims somehow when he put an uppercut from hell series on Holobaugh last fight. Excellent prospect.
As for Bellator, this is the deepest card they've ever produced by a good margin. It's deeper than the Mariana Trench. Just kind of a weak main card with some mismatches and fighters who don't belong. The main event ironically got better due to injury. I think Njokuani murks Salter though with his timing, length, strength, and arsenal. But Salter may walk through it and grapple-eff him. Who knows. Prelims has Yamauchi-Weichel. They're both contenders. I like Weichel on better strategy and technique. Honeycutt-Van Steenis. Van Steenis on dynamism. Joe Warren-Bunch - Warren on aggression, clinch striking. Gerald Harris, Mike Shipman, Joe Schilling, Jordan Young, Noad Lahat; all notable names on the prelims.
