I wonder if Jackson ever saw beatdowns at Kansas as their best player. I know Ayton saw a bunch as they exploited him...often by subpar teams, but you'd think Jackson would start to take things more personally and just take games over. He seemed like a much smarter player in college...at least that was my impression.

I didnt see Holmes or anyone else do any better!

Well... no, but they weren't the top pick in the draft claiming they were the next Shaq.

Ah...ok, good to know they get a pass because of where they were drafted, despite being in the league for much longer!

I’m actually ashamed at how irresponsible local AZ media was going into the draft regarding the Ayton vs Doncic debate.

For what it's worth 2008-09 Thunder went 23-59... They had both a sophomore Durant and a rookie Westbrook. No matter how talented the players, they still need time to learn how to win.

People are overreacting bigtime about Ayton's performance tonight.

There was some light booing at the end of the first. Even our fans can't be bothered to give much effort

Can't blame 'em a bit - if the team doesn't give a damn, why should the fans?

Probably best to save the energy for the walk back to the car, come to think of it.....

No way, how many of these did we see last year? How many have we seen this year? Nothing will change. We don't even have a **** GM

Honestly if we had a healthy Booker and TJ I think we'd be in this game. Half of these guys have no business starting..or at least two of them...and then that means our bench is horrid. We knew we had no depth anyway. I mean those are really our only two reliable scorers and we don't really have defenders outside of Bridges and Melton when he plays. I'd keep Melton in since he has hit his shots, even though that second one was lazy. Ayton really needs to get aggressive. Seriously...foul out...get 1 damn foul. Hit someone hard. Let them know going to the basket is a risky proposition.

Nah man. It’s bad. I’ve loved Ayton but man his defense is so far away. He’s a big reason why the suns are getting their ass kicked.

He literally steps away from the other teams' players and GIVES them layups. At least Holmes tries to defend most of the time and shows effort. He has 1/10th of the talent Ayton has, but 100 times the heart. I should go through and compile all the times Ayton has just side stepped or backed away when a player has the ball directly under the basket with only Ayton there to defend. He just lets them get layups. Youth or not, that's just inexplicable.

Why put up with the embarrassment, forfeit the game to save the time of officials and everyone working in the Arena and let them leave work early tonite to see their families. Letting Sarver owns a team and letting this atrocious team take the floor is a disgrace and insult to Basketball. Selling the team to Sarver will always be the worst blemish in JC's career.

That could be what changes. Sarver finally pays for a real gm.

Intensity after we are already getting hammered. Didn't do anything when it mattered.
