The issue is they still are using the same data, the same models and are getting the same results.....science however has made significant advances in connecting sun cycles, sun spots and deep space cosmic rays to the planets climate shifts. None of this now proven work (50 years in the making) has been included in the sanctioned IPCC models.

There's a difference between weather and climate. Weather forecasting is accurate enough now and climate forecasting is even more accurate.

Have you forgotten Texas?

Remember the alamo. Never forget.

Little known fact, the Alamo was actually the first weather station in Texas...
Sadly their ability to predict the weather wasn't much better than their ability to predict the future... And predicting the weather in Texas remains to this day, little better than asking Crocket how his trick knee feels...
The more you know.

My 50+ year old neighbors are raging hard while I try to sleep at 11. I'm going to look like an even bigger loser than I am if I tell them to tone it down. :(

Daughter got accepted to her first choice, long-shot/reach college today... First application... Almost seems too easy...
I was preaching calm and "Backup Options" all Summer and fall...

Now just need to figure out how to pay for it... FAFSA says I don't qualify for jack... Wonder if they consider how broke I'm going to be in 4 years.

Congrats! That's huge news. Does she qualify for any scholarships?

Thanks! I'm very proud but a little in shock as well.. We were all geared up for this to be a multi-step process...

Yes she qualified for a scholarship. Not huge, but it should at least cover room and board... Unfortunately, she didn't go with a cheap choice.

She applied to USC too, but wont hear on that until April. That would be much easier on the bank account...

My ex-boss' husband was a Lebanese architect and he went there. He did quite well for himself in Houston, other than marrying my ex-boss who was a grade-A succubus. Congrats!

I'm sure you are very proud.
I'll be going through that next year with my oldest of 3 boys.

Tuitions are just ridiculous these days. I remember paying ~$300 per quarter at UCI in the mid 80's. Good old days.

 Not going to say that wasn't a factor in her decision... But now that it's a reality, I think she's getting a little nervous. :P

Congrats on your first 2 and good luck with the 3rd!

Do they have one for knowing all the lyrics to all the K-Pop songs without knowing Korean? That's a sport now, right?
