Ya kawhi shoulda had a timeout, but he had no one to pass the ball too, serge was on another planet there.

I totally concur. Dude is worst than DD with the isos. Nurse coaches better and team plays faster without him.

We play better on road than home. I don't mind being 2nd or 3rd seed

How was that not on him? It caused a fast break and the defense wasnt set up because it wasnt inbounded. If he didnt rush that play like that wouldve been a better situation. Of course our defense cost us the game, but that was a bad play.

He had a very rough go in the 2015 and 2016 playoffs. He’s not invincible come playoff time

Does he get benched in the fourth quarter for a rookie?

Not sure what that has anything to do with his poor playoff performances. He was awesome in 2017, but poor for his standards in 2015 (brutal in that Clippers series) and 2016.

He played well, but really forcing his own hand too much. Been happening all season. He has to take what the defence gives him, he forces it way too much.
And down the stretch, you defer to Kawhi.

seriously, i hate how nurse doesnt ever hold this guy accountable... hes just gonna pat him on the ass and be like good game nice try while continuing to give him all the leeway in the world to **** up... he didnt even play a bad game tonight, he was good, but those kinds of plays are unacceptable.
mdenny wrote:In anycase....Masai is probably gonna make Fred the first active player/head coach in franchise history now that Nurse is out of the way. That's been the plan all along.

Kawhi had what, 24 points in the second half and a number of big clutch shots, yet this L is on him? I don’t think so.

We’re really going to miss JV. The bench without him is just brutal.

i'm pretty sure getting torched by the blazers bench is what lost us this game.

That's on Nurse...

There's no reason he can't draw up plays so guys are moving off of various picks/screens when Kawhi iso's a la KD on the Warriors. Instead he usually just does a lazy clear out.

At least it wasn't a Portland shambling. Team fought hard to come back, refs jobbed us and Kawhi was a non factor for 3 quarters. On to the next one.

Very easy to create secondary actions off of KD isos when he can be surrounded by the 2 GOAT shooters and 2 point forwards (Iggy and Dray).
