I'm surprised Gordon Hayward isn't on the list.

Vote: Wiggins
Nominate: Chris Paul (though as a long suffering Wizards fan . . . )

If he doesn't revert to his old form prior to the injury he may well be on it next season.

He was never worth that kind of money even prior to injury.

Well the Celtics thought he was. That's gotta count for something!

He was an allstar out West before his injury averaging 22-5.5-3.5-1 on 47-40-84 and entering his prime with no help in Utah. He also got a 3 year deal with a player option for next year rather than a massive 4 year deal, so he was definitely worth what he’s getting paid prior to this injury. If he doesn’t return to form, his contract will be a massive expiring this offseason.

Vote: CP3
Nominate: John Wall

The supermax is so much that a declining CP3 and a good but not elite player in Wall have to take the cake. Despite being attached to 2 great players, neither of those contracts seems movable without other bad money coming back.

Vote Parsons
Nominate Paul

For me, the vote has to be Parsons. He literally doesn't play but you have no shot at getting an insurance money from him. At least a guy like Mahinmi gives you 10 minutes of adequate play a game.

No.
He essentially got a massive 4 year deal. The last year being a player option makes the contract less (and not more!) valuable.

Yes he was. 22/5/3.5 on 47/39/84 shooting, good defender...even better in the playoffs. He had a really fantastic breakout year and was a top 30 player in the league (at worst) and only 26.
