I've always figured 2019 was likely a pipe dream and the Knicks need to prepare for it falling through. I mean, I guess you need to create the space for just the chance but in all likelihood they need to build their credibility and team from the ground up.

Philly since the Butler trade remind me so much of the 2010-11 Melo-Amar'e Knicks. Players occupying the same space. Lack of depth. Weird chemistry.

D'Lo has been pretty good this month. If Nets strikeout on big stars, they should just take back one year deals and collect first round picks.

I could see Tobias Harris going to the Nets.

even if this is true the whole FA angle should be a back up option regardless. this team has some nice young pieces and they need to make sure they land a great one next summer via the draft.
