Kenneth Faried just put up 21 & 10 in a loss to the Bucks...what year is this?

Was listening to RealGM radio and Danny LeRoux/Ethan Sherwood-Strauss brought up an interesting question: what happens to the Warriors if both KD and Klay walk.

They’d be an incredibly shallow team with just Curry and Dray remaining. They’d cleary fall remarkably in the 2019-20 season. However, the allure of playing with Curry would be a hell of a FA draw and I could see them easily being players for AD or one of several other FAs that year.

I dont think its that out of the picture that both leave, either— KD looks like he’s definitely gone and I could also easily see Klay wanting to return home to LA to finish out his career.

The competitive balance of the NBA is very close to returning. I’m super excited.

That's a huge assumption. So many free agents, you don't think one super team wouldn't just be replaced with another? I mean, I hope not but the precedent is now set

LeBron is a narcissist that wants people to believe that he won that title by himself, and his delusional fans claim that. But on the biggest possession of Cleveland Cavaliers history, he was standing on the side, watching Kyrie go 1-1, just hoping he'll make it. Fortunately for LeBron's legacy, he made it, so now LeBron can walk around, making these types of claims.

There should be games on today all day. NBA is missing an opportunity here. More people would watch today than Xmas.

Crazy how selfish he is. I've not seen a player before talk about a championship they won and only talk about and praise himself.

Down 20 to BKN. Hope AD's patience can last until July 1.

The Spurs v Huskies is in San Antonio?

Doesn't Kawhi always sit out games in San Antonio with an imaginary injury?

Putting the game on national TV just so everyone can witness Poeltl have his revenge.

They miss Mirotic a lot. And Rondo too.

Pelicans fans are losing faith in AD. I can understand why they do...

would you rather keep this core together for another 1.5 yrs and sign an unrestricted AD, or bundle our youth and get AD this summer? durant/lebron walked to new teams without sacrificing pieces, to remain competitive i think that's the new way of keeping ahead of the game. :banghead:

If given the option, it is a million times easier to sign an unrestricted Jaylen Brown or Tatum than it will be to sign an unrestricted AD.

Or players of similar quality to Brown and Tatum who will come to win a ring around the core of a Irving, AD, and hopefully good version of Hayward.

It's never the correct move to not trade for the MVP player who is entering his prime, ever, in the NBA.

Unless they were physically devastated by injury aka a Cousins this year. Or said they have retired to play another sport (Jordan, although in that case you would have been really happy when he came back 2 seasons later).

of course it's a million times better to sign unrestricted free agents. unfortunately the league has "tampering rules", so you really don't know how things shake-out until they do. remember it wasn't too long ago danny made power moves for kg and jesus shuttlesworth, they were close to mvp caliber status and proves danny isn't afraid to pillage his assets. i'm guessing danny does make a trade and may have a "wink-wink" agreement with another star player to ensure the roster's built with top talent. hence why i xoxo kyrie here, recruiting players. if i were a guessing man - danny gets davis or durant, maybe both.

I am starting to hate how the NBA schedules games for Thursdays. I get wanting to showcase teams and all that, but I hate the fact that there are only 3 games to watch.

Playoff type environment in San Antonio right now, not shocked at all that Toronto is down 20 in the first quarter. They can switch the faces around all they want but they’ll still be the same ole Raptors every damn year.
