You’d hope that at 27 and 7 years into his professional career that Vucevic would be a better C than Bamba currently.

We had ‘prospects’ at nearly every position already after 7 seasons of lottery finishes, so whoever we picked was going to create some duplication unless we took a PG. Shai would have been great. But apart from him, the rest would have been battling with Gordon/Isaac/Fournier/Ross for minutes on the wing - and they’re all presently better than the rookies mentioned anyway.

Only PG worth drafting that was available was SGA. I’d have been happy with him but there would have been a meltdown if we took him over Bamba on draft night.:

Would you have traded #6 pick (Bamba) for #11 (Shai) and #13 (Jerome Robinson or whatever)?

Yes and I would’ve taken Shai and Okogie (huge mancrush leading up to draft) in a heartbeat.
A scoring guard.. never heard of one.

Not even a question with the prospects on the board at #6. Okogie or Lonnie Walker would have been great picks with Shai for this team.

Last night Irving sat out and Rozier had 16 pts, 6 asts, 6 stls on 6-10 FG in 32 minutes.

I'm still very interested. I really do think he could thrive in a starting role playing 30+ minutes a night.

Especially if the cost to acquire him at the deadline is JSimms.

Why would Boston trade Rozier for JSimms?

I don't know what kind of offers they'll get, and Simms can be a contributer for next season at a reasonable price. And could be easily moved if needed.

I can't imagine us giving up much more, would be a costly acquisition if we choose to keep him

I finished the game last night and came to the conclusion that I'm done with Fournier. I can't take his negative attitude on the court. He just looks like he hates being out there. Always criticizing people and complaining about fouls. It's become too much, he's killing my mood watching the games. I'm not looking for Dwight Howard goof, but at least make it appear you don't hate your job while the lights and cameras are on.

Lebron criticizes and complains even more! But, if Lebron was on the Magic, would you still hate on him? I think the problem delves deeper into the psyche. Perhaps, a personal issue with Fournier?

Terrrrrible. Evan doesn't have the clout to act like Lebron.

I wouldn't care if Evan kicked his teammates in the balls if he played like Lebron.

Not personal but like I explained, he's just making me not enjoy watching games. I could easily argue up to this point I was probably one of the most adamant Fournier supporters on this board. I like watching his videos "Fournier for Real" because off the court, he seems like a cool happy-going guy. On the court, it's just misery now. I don't like Lebron for the same reason. I would be able to get over it easier though if we were in championship contention but it would still be a gripe.

True That. I hate Lebron mainly due to his attitude on the court, flopping etc.

hes not acting like LeBron he’s acting like literally any NBA player ever. Everyone complains about fouls or no calls.

He needs to focus on improving himself and not look for blame.

Didn't he legit lose us a game a few weeks ago when he got a tech going to the bench? Maybe didn't lose it but put it out of reach, can't remember. Either way he complains a lot for sure, it's kinda cringey.

The only time Lebron and Fournier should be compared is when talking about male pattern baldness

It was that awfully-officiated Nuggets game where the Magic were getting screwed. And where Murray(?) got away with a lot worse. I wouldn’t read too much into that.
Remember when Kobe elbowed Jameer in the chin so hard Jameer was knocked down and sent skidding across the floor?

Shouldn't be needed since it was clear as day from the replay. Why would they go out of their way to make an incorrect "correction"?
